KGOTHATSO .

CHAPTER : 12 .

She shakes her head glancing at the food in the pantry , she does have food at her house but this is too much .

Kgothatso : where do I even start looking ?

Luckily everything was placed in its section and she just took everything she's gonna need to be able to cook . She walks back into the kitchen and starts cooking ..

After a while , she closes the pot and walks to the lounge , everything white and luxurious . This man is so clean !! She yawns sleepy and heaves a sigh before moving her eyes to the TV . Mandlawenkosi slowly walks down the stairs .

Kgothatso : what are you doing out of bed ?

Mandlawenkosi : it's hot in there , the AC is not even helping .

Kgothatso : you're one stubborn man ..

He sits next to her and sighs ..

Mandlawenkosi : i told you not to cook this late , look how tired you are .

Kgothatso : I'm gonna be fine , once I get some sleep . Everything will be just fine .

Mandlawenkosi : and you say I'm stubborn , you're also stubborn .

Kgothatso : I like your kitchen , your house actually . Your house is beyond beautiful , I'm sure it was mad expensive .

Mandlawenkosi : I worked very hard to build this mansion , it took me close to 4 years to build it .

Kgothatso : that's amazing , you must be rich .

Mandlawenkosi : why are you speaking as if you really want to know ?

She shrugs .

Kgothatso : I want to know what my future husband does for a living .

Mandlawenkosi : im a businessman , i own clubs , hotels , restaurants and resorts all over the country then .. back home , I have a couple of shisanyama's and taxis I own .

Kgothatso : are you serious ?

Mandlawenkosi : I am serious .

Kgothatso : you're the next Elon Musk , not even the next . You are Elon musk wena .

Mandlawenkosi : don't exaggerate , I'm just trying to make out a living out of my life .

Kgothatso : you're educated ?

Mandlawenkosi : I am .

Kgothatso : so you hire managers to manage your business for you ?

Mandlawenkosi : yeah , some of my friends also manage some of my business . Ever since I started getting sick , they've taken over up until I heal and stand on my own two feet .

Kgothatso : do you trust them ?

Mandlawenkosi : they've been stuck with me through thick and thin , I'd lay down my life for them .

She nods.

Kgothatso : I wanted to check if you really trust them .

Mandlawenkosi : nah I do ..

Kgothatso : meanwhile , I don't have any friends .

Mandlawenkosi : why don't you have friends though ?

Kgothatso : you know at school and university , I used to have these spiritual attacks . Everyone was scared of me so me being the type of person I was , they were scared to approach me hence I spent all my high school days and university days alone with no friends . My sisters and Kgothalo were the only ones I ran to for comfort .

Mandlawenkosi : I'm sorry you had to go through that .

Kgothatso : it's fine , my sisters and Kgothalo were my pillar of strength from then , especially Kgothalo .

Mandlawenkosi : you're pretty close ..

Kgothatso : we're twins , brother and sister by birth . Best friends by choice .

Mandlawenkosi : and you look alike , if he was a girl or you were a boy . I wouldn't have been able to tell you apart .

Kgothatso : oh really ?

He nods .

Kgothatso : we're the second oldest out of my sistsrs , Kelebogile is the elder one . She's like .. 28 and Realeboga is 22 while Gosiame is 17 .

Mandlawenkosi : hmm , Kgothalo is the only boy ..

Kgothatso : he is but that doesn't bother him , he feels entitled to our safety and he always wants to protect us .

Mandlawenkosi : cute ..

Kgothatso : it is , I'd die for my twin brother and sisters . They make life seem so easier .

Mandlawenkosi : that's how we all feel , my mother just gave birth to three of us . I don't know , apparently my dad has other children out of their marriage .

Kgothatso : and you're the oldest ?

Mandlawenkosi : yep , just 2 years older than Mpiyakhe.

Kgothatso : the one who talks alot ?

He chuckles and nods .

Mandlawenkosi : yes him ...

Kgothatso : he can literally make you feel so bad .

Mandlawenkosi : that's how he is ..

Kgothatso : let me go and check on the pots , the food will be ready very soon .

Mandlawenkosi : okay .

She stands up and walks to the kitchen .. she takes out the plates and sets them properly on the tray .

Kgothatso : hey I'm pouring you water , is that okay ?

Mandlawenkosi : it's fine .

She dishes up the food and pours him a glass of water , she walks to the lounge with the tray .

Kgothatso : eh I tried ..

Mandlawenkosi : you can't tell me you try , I don't believe that .

Kgothatso : why ?

Mandlawenkosi : firstly , you're the one who cooked the meal at your mother's house . The most delicious meal I ever had

Kgothatso : don't exaggerate man ..

Mandlawenkosi : you're a good cook and I don't think I'm gonna struggle .

Kgothatso : and what does that mean ?

Mandlawenkosi : considering that I don't know how to cook for myself , you're now coming into my life and I'm not going to struggle with eating . You're here ..

Kgothatso : and I think I won't struggle with cleaning because this house looks like you bought it an hour ago .

Mandlawenkosi : I'm more than happy to do that since you're gonna be the one cooking and stuff .

She nods .

Kgothatso : eat your food now , so you can go and rest .

Mandlawenkosi : yeah ..

They start eating in silence as she stops halfway ..

Kgothatso : I'm full , I'm not gonna be able to eat anymore .

Mandlawenkosi : the food is good though .

Kgothatso : thank you , im glad you enjoyed the food .

Mandlawenkosi : I did ..

Kgothatso : are you finished ? I want to take your plate and place it away .

Mandlawenkosi : yeah I'm done .

She takes the plate and walks to the kitchen , she places the plates on the counter and walks back .

Kgothatso : I'll sleep in the guest room .

Mandlawenkosi : let me go and make sure there are enough blankets for you .

Kgothatso : okay .

They walk upstairs and head to the guestroom ..

Mandlawenkosi : are they fine ?

Kgothatso : it's not that cold so yeah ..

Mandlawenkosi : then , I guess it's goodnight .

Kgothatso : yeah , you have imphepho here mos ?

Mandlawenkosi : yeah ..

Kgothatso : light it up and place it in the passage for the night .

Mandlawenkosi : okay , goodnight .

Kgothatso : goodnight , sleep well .

He nods and walks out ... she opens the covers and turns off the lights . She then jumps in bed and covers herself .
