A YEAR LATER ..
She kneels down on the ground and grunts clapping her hands and calling upon her ancestors .
Kgothalo : this is the place where they died at , all of them .
Mandlawenkosi kneels infront of Kgothatso and lowers his head ..
Mandlawenkosi : gogo ..
She grunts shaking her head ..
Kgothatso : what I wanted happened ..

Kgothatso : they died , all of them ..

Kgothatso : you couldn't see any enemy close to you .

Mandlawenkosi glances at Kgothalo .

She smiles disappearing into thin air ..
Mandlawenkosi : what did she say ?
Kgothatso : I'm not carrying one child .

She nods smiling ..
Kgothatso : and she said I'd deliver safe and healthy babies .

She stands up and fixes the ancestral cloth around her waist and places her hands on her belly .
Kgothatso : being 5 months pregnant is alot yoh .
Kgothalo : you look quite good .
Mandlawenkosi : my wife is glowing ..
She smiles .
Kgothatso : I'm glowing really ?
Mandlawenkosi : this past year has been very impactful on you , I know you weren't expecting to replace Sphiwo so soon ..
Kgothatso : I really wasn't but here we are , expecting more than one child .
Kgothalo : I'm genuinely happy for you guys .
Kgothatso : lets go , I'm cold out here ..
They rush to the car and jump in ..
Kgothatso : damn ..
Mandlawenkosi : are you cold ?
Kgothatso : yeah ..
He takes off his hoddie and hand it over to her , she puts it on and gets comfortable in it .
Kgothatso : ohh its so warm , it's mine now .
Mandlawenkosi : you have 100 of my hoddies in your closet .
Kgothatso : it's only right .
She rests her head on his shoulder as Kgothalo drives off ..
Kgothalo : Kaone is going to kill me , you guys get me in so much trouble .
Kgothatso : you're my twin brother before you're Kaone's husband so you must be here whenever I need you , regardless of what time I call you .
Kgothalo : I'm not disagreeing .
Mandlawenkosi : how's your son ?
Kgothalo : perfect little boy , I'm obsessed .
Kgothatso : must be nice ..

He continues driving till he reaches their house ..

They jump off the car and walk inside ..
Mandlawenkosi : be careful .
Kgothatso : thank you .
They walk inside and she turns on the lights .
Kgothatso : I'm hungry .
Mandlawenkosi : you ate .
Kgothatso : I'm still hungry .
Mandlawenkosi : what do you want to have then ?
Kgothatso : pizza and ice cream .
Mandlawenkosi : okay ma'am ..
She chuckles as he walks to the kitchen .. she throws herself on the couch and sighs heavily .
Kgothatso : no wonder I feel so heavy , you're alot in there .
She glances at her belly and smiles a bit .
Kgothatso : i was in pain for the first 3 months after your great-grandmother died and your sister died . I was almost depressed and I almost went crazy , but your dad held my hand every step of the way and he didn't let me fall down . As much as he was broken , he was there for me and he didn't abandon me , your father is the most amazing man ever .
She sighs ..
Kgothatso : I don't regret saving him and becoming his protector . How he risked his life for me and saved me that day I almost lost my life .
Mandlawenkosi : that's cute .
Kgothatso : why are you listening to what I'm saying Mandlawenkosi ?
Mandlawenkosi : don't be shy now .
She rolls her eyes .
Kgothatso : I can never be shy around my own husband .
Mandlawenkosi : you speak so highly of me to my babies .
Kgothatso : they deserve to know what an amazing man their father is.
Mandlawenkosi : do they know how great their mother is though ?
Kgothatso smiles .
Kgothatso : i feel so good about this one .
Mandlawenkosi : I also do , we've been through so much together .
Kgothatso : it's been a lot hey .
Mandlawenkosi : it really has been a lot . I'm just glad that ...
He holds her hand and sighs .
Mandlawenkosi : that you're here with me Kgothatso , really I'm nothing without you .
Kgothatso : I'm nothing without you baby .
Mandlawenkosi : thank you for coming into my life and turning it around .
Kgothatso : when would you have known that Zolani is a backstabbing friend ?
Mandlawenkosi : I wouldn't have known yoh ..

He kisses her forehead and tears start to stream down her face .
Kgothatso : I don't even know I deserved like this .
Mandlawenkosi : you deserve everything good that's happening to you mama .
Kgothatso : please hold my hand and assure me that you'll never leave me
He holds her hand and kisses her multiple times .
Mandlawenkosi : I promise you that I'll never leave you , our marriage or kids .
Kgothatso : I'm just glad that everything I went through the past year , I went through it with you by my side and you never abandoned me .
Mandlawenkosi : you're Kgothatso Ndlovu , my wife and the mother of my children . How can I abandon you ?
Kgothatso : Kgothatso Ndlovu is the name now ..
She says with tears in her eyes ..
Kgothatso : I love you with my whole heart ..
Mandlawenkosi : I love you deeply ..
