Kgothatso : I'm not hiding anything .

Mandlawenkosi : babe ..

Kgothatso : trust me.

He sighs and holds both her hands .

Mandlawenkosi : we'll leave first thing tomorrow morning.

Kgothatso : (nods) thank you .

Mandlawenkosi : as long as you're fine .

She sighs ..

Kgothatso : are you surprised that I see dead people ?

Mandlawenkosi : you're a healer , I expect such from you .

Kgothatso : I love that you're not afraid of anything that you get to see from me .

Mandlawenkosi : im really not either way , you're my wife and I love you so I'll support you .

She smiles a bit ..

Kgothatso : I love you too .

He kisses her forehead .

Mandlawenkosi : do you want food ?

Kgothatso : not now .

Mandlawenkosi : I don't remember seeing you eating today .

Kgothatso : I haven't had the appetite as of yet .

Mandlawenkosi : you're starving yourself .

Kgothatso : I'll eat when I feel like it , dont worry .

He nods .

Mandlawenkosi : I don't like it when you're crying and all that . Its not fun because I feel like I can't do anything .

Kgothatso : you're gonna get to see that for a few times .

Mandlawenkosi : and I'm more than ready to play the drum for you .

She chuckles .

Kgothatso : you must learn .

Mandlawenkosi : I will .

— AT NIGHT ..

They're sitting at the dinner table having dinner , Nelisiwe's eyes fixed in Kgothatso who keeps on heaving sighs .

Nelisiwe : if you're not hungry then why are you here ?

Kgothatso : is it your job to keep track of your life and what I do ?

Mpiyakhe : Nelisiwe , please stop it .

Mandlawenkosi leans over to her ear ..

Mandlawenkosi : (whispers) whats wrong ?

Kgothatso : (whispers) your aunts aren't here but I still feel uneasy .

She says glancing at Nelisiwe ..

Kgothatso : so weird ..

Mandlawenkosi : please hold it in, we're leaving first thing in the morning .

She nods and takes a deep breath , once they all finish eating . Kgothatso clears the plates ..

Brenda : there's no need to wash the dishes dear , I'll wash them .

Kgothatso : they're not alot , it's okay .

Brenda : it's okay , you're not well .

Kgothatso : im so sorry , I'm unable to do anything and i just feel so bad .

Brenda : you must not , im very happy that you're here .

She smiles lightly .

Kgothatso : goodnight .

Brenda : goodnight ..

She walks to Mandlawenkosi's bedroom and finds him pulling out the covers , her phone rings just as she's about to speak and she answers .

Kgothatso : hey .

Kgothalo : better half ..

Kgothatso : I miss you .

Kgothalo : are you okay now ? I'm very worried about you .

Kgothatso : Im okay , we're heading back home tomorrow . I can't handle all this .

Kgothalo : what did you see though ?

She sighs lightly as Mandla wraps his arms around her from behind ..

Kgothatso : when are you going back to Joburg ?

Kgothalo : in the next few days , why ?

Kgothatso : we'll meet and talk , there's alot and I want to talk to you .

Kgothalo : did you tell Mandla about what you saw ?

Kgothatso : I haven't .

Kgothalo : why ?

Kgothatso : we'll talk Kgothalo .

Kgothalo : okay .

Kgothatso : night ..

She hangs up and turns around ..

Mandlawenkosi : is there something you want to tell me ?

Kgothatso : huh ?

Mandlawenkosi : you're offish .

Kgothatso : do you perhaps want kids ?

He raises his eyebrow ...

Mandlawenkosi : where's that question ?

Kgothatso : I'm just asking .

Mandlawenkosi : i do want kids , with you .

She holds back her tears and nods .

Mandlawenkosi : are you crying ?

Kgothatso : nah ..

She says trying to pull away from his grip but he holds her tight .

Kgothatso : Mandla ..

Mandlawenkosi : where's that question coming from ?

Kgothatso : please ..

Mandlawenkosi : what did you see Kgothatso ?

Kgothatso : just .. leave me .

He sighs and lets her be ..

Mandlawenkosi : and you call me your husband yet you can't confide in me .

She turns back and quickly wipes off her tears ..
