KGOTHATSO .

CHAPTER 06 .

— KGOTHATSO'S MANSION , SANDTON .

Her body drops on the floor as she screams , she tries crawling to the door but fails .

Mandlawenkosi : why are you running away ?

Kgothatso : Mandla ..

Mandlawenkosi : we're both stuck in this room together .. we're bonded by fate ..

Kgothatso : I don't love you .

Mandlawenkosi : I also don't .. but I'm here , I'm here and I can't leave this room .

She swallows hard .

Mandlawenkosi : we'll always be together in good and bad times . We'll be stuck together for life .

He pulls her hand as their faces arre brought in contact .

She gasps loudly jumping up from her pillow sweating ..

Kgothatso : oh my God ..

She breathes heavily trying to catch her breath , she glances at the curtains that remotely opened themselves and jumps off the bed . She swallows hard with her heart pounding .

Kgothatso : what was that ? Goshh ..

She walks to the bathroom and brushes her teeth then takes a shower , once she's done with her morning routine . She walks out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body . She dries herself and lotions ..

Kgothatso : what should I even wear ? I don't know what to wear ..

She eventually puts on her long grey skirt with her white crop top , she then puts on her sandals and makes her bed . Once she's done making her bed , she takes her phone and car keys then walks out .. she heads downstairs and walks out of the house .

She gets in the car and drives out ..

— 35 MINUTES LATER .

She parks her car and jumps off , she then walks inside ..

Masentle : you're late .

Kgothatso : I'm late for ?

Masentle : who do you think is going to cook for your family now ?

Kgothatso : Ma ..

Masentle : come , go place your phone and car keys down then put on this apron .. the letter is already here and they must be on their way .

Kgothatso : but ..

Masentle : Kgothatso , we're not the ones who are going to marry Mandlawenkosi , you are .

Kgothatso : fine ..

She walks into the lounge ..

Kgothatso : hello .

Kelebogile : hey you , are you ready ?

Kgothatso : I'm not very excited for cooking .

Realeboga : well you must learn to be excited because you're going to be cooking for this man everyday in your house . Day and night ..

Kgothatso : once again , what have I gotten myself into ?

Kelebogile : go and cook sis .

Kgothatso : where's my better half ? Is he not here yet ?

Realeboga : he went out drinking last night and drove to his house . He didn't even call to let us know where he is .

Kgothatso : he only wants the pain of my finger , I'm going to pinch his ears when he arrives .

Kelebogile : you should , he listens to you only .

She places her car keys down and walks to the kitchen , she puts on the apron .

Kgothatso : what do I need to do ?

Masentle : I've already placed the dumpling on the stove , you just need to cook the beef and then the samp , the pumpkin and the rest of the vegetables .

Kgothatso : you're already trying to kill your child ?

Masentle : haa ? You know that I'd never do that . I'm just happy that this is finally happening and you're going to be a married woman soon .

She nods lightly .

Kgothatso : alright ..

Masentle : go on .

— MANDLAWENKOSI'S MANSION , SANDHURST .

He stands up straight buttoning his shirt as his little sister glances at him nodding multiple times .

Samkele : looking sharp brother , not looking sick at all .

Mandlawenkosi : Stop talking alot and take out my airforces in the closet .

Samkele : great choice .

Mandlawenkosi : go and start the car meanwhile , we're late .

Samkele : excited to go and see your future wife and your future family ?

Mandlawenkosi : it's not like that .

She giggles and walks to his closet ,

Samkele : you have so many shoes that you don't even wear and they're all new .

Mandlawenkosi : just bring my kicks so we can go .

She walks back with his kicks and he puts them on , he brushes his head and sprays perfume all over himself .

Samkele : weren't you sick yesterday ?

Mandlawenkosi : I was but then .. I think an angel came and saved me .

Samkele : she hasn't saved you yet , there's still a long way to go .

Mandlawenkosi : yeah ..

They walk downstairs .

Bab'Ndlovu : lets go ..

Mpiyakhe : I brought these flowers so you could give them to your wife .

Mandlawenkosi : I don't want to .

Mpiyakhe : here .. dad tell him .

Bab'Ndlovu : atleast gift her something to show her how thankful you are that she's doing this for you .

He sighs .

Mandlawenkosi : lets just go .

They walk out of the house and jump in their cars , not driving themselves though . The drivers are there ....

After about 45 minutes or so .. they arrive in Fourways and drive to the address they were given . Once they arrive , the drivers park the cars next to the gate and they jump off .

Mpiyakhe : do you think they'll let us in ?

Bab'Ndlovu : they can't judge a fine , this is a meeting not any of ritual .

They walk inside and knock on the door ..

Mandlawenkosi : I don't know where I'm taking these flowers though , I really don't .

Bab'Ndlovu : well you're already here with the flowers, do the things now son .

Samkele : do the things , as dad said .

Mandlawenkosi : shut up .

Gosiame opens the door and she smiles lightly .

Gosiame : hello , please come in .

Bab'Ndlovu : thank you dear ..

They walk inside as Kgothatso's eyes land on Mandlawenkosi , she glances at him from head to toe , wasn't he just ill yesterday ?

Mpiyakhe : you can stare at him , he's yours after all .
