SEASON 1 FINALE.

Christopher is driving Sbanisenkosi to the hospital along with her mother. His heart is beating fast out of fear that something might be wrong with Sbani and the baby. His mother is in the backseat trying to keep her body cool enough. She has fainted..

Once they reach the hospital, Sbanisenkosi is immediately admitted and is taken to the emergency room. While Christopher and his mother sit in the waiting area..

“This is her phone, please try calling her parents to come.” He says handing his mother the phone. She tries speaking but sees that he's about to break down, she keeps quiet and swipes to unlock Sbani's phone. She goes to her call log and calls her mother. It starts ringing..

“Hey baby..” Her mother says, Mrs Biyela sighs.

“Hi, you must be Sbanisenkosi's mother. I'm Ntombizodwa, Christopher's mother.” She says.

“Oh, hello. May I help you with anything?” She asks.

“We just rushed Sbanisenkosi to the hospital, sh..she fainted we don't know what's the problem.” She says and Sbanisenkosi's mom starts panicking.

“What? Sbani was fine when I talked to her in the morning so what happened? dod something happen?” She asks.

“Nothing happened, they went to the checkup and the doctor did say that her stress levels are too high so I think that was the reason she fainted.” Mrs Biyela says.

“Oh God, you're at the private hospital right? We're on our way.” She says hanging up, Mrs Biyela heaves a sigh.

“Nkanyezi..” She says brushing her back, he's sobbing.

“I shouldn't have had that conversation with her maybe she wouldn't have been here. I like pushing everything not caring how she felt..” He says, trembling.

“Don't blame yourself Nkanyezi, it was just a conversation and it perhaps didn't sit well with her. You don't need to blame yourself..” She says.

“I love Sbanisenkosi ma, I love her more than I've ever loved anyone else. I don't want to lose her, she's going to give life to my first born baby and now she ends up in the hospital because of me? what type of a man am I?” He asks, Mrs Biyela heaves a sigh.

“Do you want us to pray?” She asks her, he sighs and nods. They face each other and hold hands. Mrs Biyela starts uttering a prayer making Christopher sob even more. She finishes and they both utter AMEN.

“She's going to be fine okay? do not stress yourself. You must be strong for her..” She says brushing his cheek and kissing his forehead.

“I'm proud of you for letting go of your old ways and being commited to Sbani.” She says, he heaves another sigh.

“I'm worried about her..” He says, the doctor walks out of the ward and closes the door. She walks towards Christopher and Mrs Biyela..

“Ma'am, sir..” She says causing them to stand up.

“How is she?” Christopher asks her, she smiles a bit.

“That's a very strong woman there, we managed to supply her with some oxygen because she was losing her breath.” She says.

“Is she fine?” Mrs Biyela asks, the doctor nods.

“She's completely fine, she's just a bit weak right now and don't worry, the baby is okay.” She says and they sigh in relief.

“Thank you so much God..” Mrs Biyela says looking up holding her hands together.

“She was just under a lot of stress. I don't know what's stressing her but I'd like for it to stop.” She says.

“Can we sse her?” Christopher asks, she nods.

“She's awake so you can come and see her, I provided her with some vitamins to keep her energy up. She's still a bit weak..” She says, he nods.

“As long as we get to see her..” He says, just as they're about to walk inside. Sbanisenkosi's parents walk through the passage and the first person they spot is Christopher.

“Wait..Sbani's parents are here..” He says as they shift their eyes to them. Christopher's eyes meet the father's eyes but he quickly shifts them away.

“Where is my daughter? how is she?” Mrs Mbatha asks.

“The doctor just updated us, she was just under a lot of stress but she's okay now and she's awake.” Mrs Biyela says.

“Oh Thank God..” Mrs Mbatha says breathing out in relief.

“We were about to go in and see her, shall we?” Mrs Biyela says, Sbani's mother nods and they walk inside. Sbanisenkosi glares at all of them..

“Hey...” Her mother says walking to her with some tears in her eyes. She hugs her tightly so.

“You keep on scaring us..” She says kissing the top of her hair, Sbanisenkosi heaves a sigh and glares at Christopher.

“I'm sorry for scaring you all, it wasn'tmy intention.” She says.

“As long as you're okay and the baby is also okay there's nothing to be worried about.” Mrs Biyela says.

“Uhm..Sbanisenkosi will be coming home with us. Thsnk you for taking care of her for this short period of time but I don't want my heart to stop while I'm worried about my daughter.” Her dad says, Mrs Biyela nods.

“I've taken her as my own, it's okay. Any parent will feel how you're feeling right now, I understand. She kept my house full of life..” She says glaring at Sbanisenkosi.

“Nkanyezi, I hope you were told about the damages you're supposed to pay for the child she's carrying.” He says, Nkanyezi nods.

“I acknowledge my responsibilities and I'll pay for them without any negotiations sir..” He responds, Mr Mbatha nods.

“I hope your family gets in contact soon.” He says.

“Do you want anything to drink dear or maybe eat? I can order something healthy for you.” Mrs Biyela says. Sbani shakes her head.

“I'll be fine, I'm not hungry...” She says.

“Is it possible to talk to Nkanyezi in private?” She asks, they all look at each other before looking at her again.

“We'll give you guys some space..” Mrs Mbatha says and the three of them walk out. Christopher heaves a sigh and glares at Sbani.

“I'm sorry..” He says, Sbani sighs.

“It's fine, I let myself be in this position. I should've fought it off..” She says.

“But if I hadn't initiated the conversation, you wouldn't be here.” He says, she glares at him.

“What's done is done Nkanyezi, we can't reverse anything. Right now, we have a child to think of. We can't be selfish and keep arguing..” She says, he nods.

“You're right, our personal issues shouldn't affect our baby. Hence I feel it's best that...” He takes a deep breath.

“Break up officially..” Sbani says finishing off his sentence, he nods and swallows the lump down his throat.

“I'll be present in our baby's life..” He says, she nods and blinks way her tears. He clears his throat.

“Fùck..” He says wiping off his own tears, she also wipes off her tears and glares at him. Christopher cups her face and plants a kiss on her lips as her tears roll down again.

“I love you, only you. I hope you know that..” He says.

“I don't hope, i know..” She says.

“Will you ever tell your stars about me again? or they'll have to get used to you speaking of random things?” She asks, he chuckles a bit.

“I won't stop, writing your name in the stars. Or let me just say, your name will forever be written in the stars. Okay?” He says glaring at her with tears in his eyes, she nods and wipes off his tears.

“You look cute when you're crying..” She says, he smiles and heaves a sigh.

“Same goes for you” He says wrapping his arms all around her, they share a hug..crying.
