I've been trying to get my life back on track ever since that happened. I'm trying to forgive myself for putting myself in that situation. Sbanisenkosi has been a great friend to me but I can't say the same about Mbali. She sent me a text a month back and told me Sbani and I have been bad friends to her and she feels that it's best she stays away from us because we're bad energy.

I miss our trio friendship and maybe that's the only thing that's left. However, some things aren't meant to be. So it's best we move on and try to focus on some life goals. I've been trying to settle in at work and now I'm working on building my mother the house she always wanted and by God's grace, everything will come together.

I just knocked off right now and I'm heading to my place for a Netflix night alone. That's the life now.

“Luyanda, stop there..” Mbali says standing right behind me, I turn around and glare at her. I don't see her the same now..

“How are you doing?” She asks with a smile on her face, I heave a sigh.

“For someone who said they want to stay away from me, you're acting way differently.” I say.

“Look I've been thinking...we don't need to have this bad blood between us. We're sisters and I don't think this should be the end of this sisterhood.” She says, I chuckle.

“But you're the one who ended everything. You even went as far as trying to end Sbani's relationship. ” I say.

“I would not like to talk about Sbani right now, my situation with hers is a bit different and it needs time. Right now, I'm talking about you and I.” She says, I shake my head.

“There's no us without Sbanisenkosi. Even with her and I..there's not us without you. I don't know what went wrong with you Mbali but you changed. You acted as if you slept with a stranger but truth is, you slept with Sbani's brother even when she clearly asked you to not proceed. You reminded her of her past, tried to ruij her relationship.” I say.

“Sbanisenkosi went as far as insulting my mother, she didn't even feel herself being wrong.” She says.

“And what were you doing that day she found you at her man's office? your intentions were clearly wrong and you want to stand her and act like a victim. Mina I miss our friendship. I don't know about you, please excuse me.” I say walking to my car and jumping in. I start the engine and drive off.

I swear my whole body feels like it's on fire. My boobs are painful and they feel insanely full. I juet woke up and I feel like dozing off again, God you should tell me if you're taking me now.

“Do you need water?” Christopher asks sitting besides me, I nod. I feel so thirsty, goshh.

“Cold water with ice cubes please..” I say, he nods and plants a kiss on my lips.

“Why are you upset?” He asks kissing me all over my face, I shake my head.

“I'm just tired..” I say, he nods and walks to the kitchen. I glare at the TV, I think I've had enough of K-drama. It's starting to bore me now.

“Here you go..” He says handing me the glass of water, it's so cold.. I gulp it down and chew the ice.

“You were that thirsty?” He asks, I nod.

“My mother was here to drop some stuff off but she left. You slept yoh..” He says, really?

“You should've woken me up. Now she left and I didn't see her.” I say placing the glass on the table.

“You were sleeping peacefully and she said it's okay if you don't wake up. You know, she was making some jokes.” He says.

“Jokes? what kind of jokes?” I ask him, he laughs a bit and shakes his head.

“She said you're expecting..” He says, I blankly stare at him. Expecting what?

“Expecting a baby..” He says, I stare at him and end up laughing. It literally feels like a joke because why would I be pregnant?

“That's exactly how I reacted, i mean. There's no way..” He says, I laugh for one last time and shake my head.

“Your mom has jokes, eh..my dad will hang me on the nearest tree if I'm to get pregnant.” I say, well he's not but he's going to be emotional because why is his only daughter becoming a mother?

“I mean when the time is right then maybe, we might cook up something nyana in here.” He says.

“And we're very lucky that I haven't gotten pregnant after all this while. We haven't been protecting and you haven't been pulling out.” I say.

“Because you go crazy when I'm supposed to pull out. You scratch my back, you cry..you're just something else nje. You always lock me in betwen of your legs like..hello? do you want me to give you a baby?” He asks, I hit his shoulder.

“I'll swear at you...” I say, he leans over and kisses my cheek.

“I'd still love you the same, nothing changes.” He says.

“I'm going to the bathroom, I need to pee so bad.” I say getting up and stretching my body.

“You actually look thicker than you were before.” He says, I frown..I told him not to stare at my body.

“You're making me feel so insecure right now, please stop.” I say attempting to walk off but he holds my arm and pulls me back.

“Sorry..” He says wrapping his arms all around me, I heave a sigh. I don't know why I've feeling so insecure about my body these days.

“I'm sorry, your body is beautiful and I love it. I love all of you and no change in you will stop me from loving you.” He says.

“I know, I'm just..I feel so emotional.” I say heaving a huge sigh. He turns me around and hugs me tightly.

“I love you..” He says, I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his chest.

“I love you more than you think..” I respond.

“You said you needed to pee..” He says, oh..I pull out of the hug and walk to the bathroom. I don't know what just made me look into the mirror but I just did and I look like..not a fat person but there's some weight gain here. I didn't have a potbelly but now there's a little potbelly forming. The food I'm eating is making me gain weight .
