“Pearl shows up at my new olace in the morning after Sbanisenkosi and I clearly talked about this thing of ours and agreed on taking things slowly.” I say, he laughs.

“You mean Pearl? our receptionist?” He asks, I nod. That woman irritates me so much, I'm gonna fire her.

“Sbanisenkosi got angry and left, I was supposed to drive her to work but she requested for an uber snd told me how she thoughts she could handle this but she honestly  can't.” I say shaking my head, Sbanisenkosi is one weird human being. I literally told her everything that might point out as a red flag and still..she didn't have any problem so now...I don't understand.

“Haa? the honeymoon is over before it even began? eh..” He says, I sigh. I feel a bit down though.

“Thing is, I did tell her that I've never felt this way about any other woman and I'm trying to not be a womanizer but u'girl tells me shit. I don't understand women sometimes.” I say pouring another glass.

“But how are you both gonna act since she's gonna be at the mansion often now during this project?” He asks, I shrug.

“I really don't know. I thought we could build something good out of this but she clearly cannot look past my mistakes, she has mistakes as well and I don't know them. I don't want to know but she's out here acting as if she's the perfect human being.” I say.

“I really thought you guys had something good going on but don't worry, there's a lot of a$$ here. You can take home a few...” He says, i shake my head.

“I don't feel like having it today, not with any other woman. I just want to drink, go home and sleep. I have to work tomorrow.” I say.

“Damn, this woman really changed you hey, you look miserable man.” He says, I chuckle.

“I fell for her, strongly so kodwa keh I don't think I'm gonna stop persuing her. I can't just give up on us like that. You know, while she was sleeping yesterday after we...you know. I wasn't able to speak so..I proceeded to talk to my stars in the sky to tell them about the beautiful star in my life.” I say heaving a sigh.

“You won't understand, i glared at the stars and the only thing that was written in the stars was her beautiful name.” I say heaving another sigh.

“Please don't show me the emotional you. You're going to make me vomit but then at the end of the day if you want things to work between you two, put in the work. Uyi'ndoda, don't just let her slip out of your arms..” He says, yeah he's right.

“I have to go, see you tomorrow.” I say gulping down the whiskey and getting off the high chair.

“So you're just gonna leave me like this? are you being serious?” He asks, I shake my head.

“I can't let go of her like that, not like this. I let my fucking emotions take over, I'll see you.” I say grabbing my phone and walking out of the bar. I jump in my car and drive off heading to Centurion.
