"Hellooo! It's me!!Hello It's me!!" Yes picture that sound as I make my dramatic return!

Lol, I know it's been a while, the last time we spoke, I had taken a tough decision to return back to Joburg, so that I could be surrounded by family as I recovered, I felt like I was slowly suffocating back in Durban, and as hard as it was having to leave Shaka, I had to do it, for my own sanity.

And you know what? It turned out to be the best decision that I've ever taken, being in Joburg has been exactly what I needed and I can proudly say that I feel good.

I don't just feel good emotionally but physically I've healed as well, when I got to Joburg I was literally perishing, wearing size 28, my neighbors thought I had caught a virus back in Durban and would be dying in a few weeks, It didn't even help that I was on a wheelchair.

But now, 4 months later, I'm back to my old self, back to my original body, I'm on my feet, emotionally I feel stronger than ever, I can confidently advise people to choose self isolation whenever they feel like their energy is off, it is important to take some time out to yourself if you feel like you're bleeding on someone else who doesn't deserve to be covered in your blood.

That situation with Ty really changed my life, being locked inside a burning car, seeing my life flash infront of my eyes that way, inhaling death and feeling the gates of hell open with its heat? That experience changed my life, you could say I died that day, from what I've heard, I did die and if it weren't for Tumelo, I would have never woken up.

When you go through something like that, that experience changes you, either for worse or for better, for a while it almost changed me for the worst but I am glad that I was able to pull through and 4 months later, here I am.

You see what I've realised is that, when we go through harships in life, we tend to look at them negatively, but sometimes those hardships are meant to make us strong, they are meant to build us into stronger and better people.

I used to look at everything that I went through months ago negatively, I kept asking God, why I had to go all through that pain, but now I understand, God chose me because he trusted me, he believed I could stand the test of time and spread his word based on my experiences and his mercy.

As I've just stated, I shouldn't be alive today, but I am and it is because he used people like Shaka and his friends to pull me out of the darkness, he reminded me that I have a greater purpose in this world, that everything I've been through in the past couple of months, was to prepare me for the greatness that's about to come my way.

More than anything the biggest lesson here has been forgiveness, letting it all go, and I had to start at home, with my parents, with my siblings, it was very grueling emotionally, but it had to be done, we all had to attend therapy, let everything out and because of that, our relationship is better, I no longer blame Mam' Ayanda and her kids for taking my father away from us, I've come to understand that life doesn't always turn out the way we want them to.

And that's never been far from the truth, life doesn't always turn out the way we want it to, it turns out the way that God intended it to, we may not agree with his methods but they always work out.

Anyway enough with the life lesson, today is the 31st, and do you know what that means? My man is coming over!!

And I am so excited! I haven't seen him in 4 full months, I mean of course we've been talking on the phone, through calls, texts and via facetime but nothing beats seeing his handsome face close range, hearing his deep voice close range and having his hands all over me, I knew distance would make the heart grow fonder but man, I've missed him so much.

He will be landing in a couple of minutes and I've asked Thuso to fetch him, he's under the impression that we will be crossing over to the new year together and also celebrating his birthday together but that's not the case, the whole family is here, his friends are here and we've booked ourselves into a private Airbnb in the Drakensburg Mountains.

The catering team has just finished setting everything up, the theme is Transformers, particularly Optimus Prime colors, blue, red with a touch of silver.

Outside the Autobots cars are parked on the lawn, the likes of Bumblebee the yellow Lamborghini, Ratchet, Optimus Prime the truck itself is parked outside, and then inside they've set up the transformers, I almost got a heart attack earlier thinking they were real, these robots were just standing there looking so real, I almost thought I'd hear Optimus Prime's deep voice echo through this house.

There's blue, red and silver balloons everywhere, a huge 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRIME' balloon fountain, there's a huge Optimus Prime truck designed cake, drinks, snacks, his gifts have taken up the whole corner, we will be having dinner on the patio under the stars, and then later on the elders, will go to their own house and we will remain here and party through the next year as kids.

Ndalo: Ntando, I've just spoken to Thuso, they've just arrived.
Me(nervously): Phew! Okay, let's do this, how do I look?
Ndalo(smiles): Stunning, he'll get a hard on just by looking at you.

We laughed, I was wearing a blue dress, it didn't require a bra, it was backless and had a long slit, exposing my whole thigh, on that exposed thigh I was wearing a thigh chain that had his initial 'S', I was also wearing arm cuffs with his initials, my hair and makeup was on point, my body honey! I walked out of the house and waited for them to appear, I could see them coming down, the look on his face when he saw the cars on the yard, and then his eyes landed on me, he threw his bag to Thusi and ran towards me, I met him halfway and he picked me up while spinning me around, he finally put me down and just captured my lips, his hands landing on his favorite part of my body giving it a little squeeze.

Tumelo, Sean, Lungelo, Ndalo, Olwethu, Asante, Lethokuhle, his father and Aunt Mandisa, Thabiso, Sbonelo, the twins Elihle and Esihle, Kamo, Boitumelo, Thuso, Thato, Okuhle, Siyakha, Mom, Dad, Aunt Ayanda, Smiso, Siyamthanda, Lindani(Ndalo's man), Sabelo(Lethokuhle's husband), Katlego(Thuso's girlfriend), Oratilwe(Thato's girlfriend), Amahle(Boitumelos partner), Karabo(Kamo's girlfriend), Kristen(Sean's partner), Thalitha(Lungelo's girlfriend), Sindi(Thalitha's friend), Hlobisile and Saneh(Okuhle's friends).

Shaka: You did not!
Me(smiles): We did, happy birthday sthandwa sami.

Aunty Mandisa(smiles): You're a baby for the next 24 hours, so no one will mock you!

We laughed and I pulled him into a hug, oh my man was crying, this was so beautiful to witness, Shaka hardly breaks down, the last time he did, was when I told him I was leaving for Joburg.

We shared a kiss and I wiped away his tears

We cheered happily for him and Aunty Mandisa handed him the knife so that he could cut his cake, first he blew out the 24 candles and then cut a piece of the cake, which I fed to him while everyone cheered, he also fed me a piece as well and the Thato played some music.

I had hired 3 photographers, two were taking pictures and the other one was taking videos, Shaka greeted everyone and thanked them for coming while I went to check the setting outside, everything was set and ready.

Me: Guys, let's go, dinner is served!

Everyone went outside to the patio, Shaka held my hand, letting everyone through, he had a naughty smirk on his face, oh my God, I wonder what's going on inside that dirty head of his.

We started digging in over a light chat around the table, we were all just having a great time, we had great food, great wine, great company as well as great conversations, the table was filled with nothing but laughter and my man seemed really happy, and thats all that mattered to me, in this moment.

When I threw Peach a surprise birthday dinner, flying in, her friends and parents a couple of months ago, I really thought she wouldn't be able to top that surprise, but man was I wrong! Me(chuckles): I can't admire my beautiful, sexy woman now?

Dad: Thank you for not being selfish, I know you and Shaka haven't seen each other in 4 months and today was meant to be your day together but you decided to make it a family thing, because you understood how much it would mean for all of us, for him to spend his first birthday with us and for us as well.

We laughed.
Mom(smiles): We are really grateful, I mean I wasn't at your birthday celebration so I didn't even get to see my sister, but you did this so that we could all meet and have a great time as a family, thank you so much.

Me(embarrassed): Mom, please don't start.

Everyone laughed.

Mom: But you know what I mean, watching you grow into the young man that you've become has been such a full circle moment for me as a mother, I know we didn't agree on a lot of things including this relationship with your cousin, but you guys make each other happy and as parents I think, that's all we ever want for our children, for them to be happy, I don't know who will have to hide what here, Phiwe from now on we are friends and not sisters to avoid over explaining why my niece is with my son.

The whole table burst out laughing.
Aunty Phiwe: Ntando do you see the predicament you've put us through?
