Deadly obsession ,Chapter 15

SUKOLUHLE

It's finally Good Friday, and I'm in a good mood. I've been looking forward to this day all week, because I have something important to say to Zibusiso. I'm planning on telling him that we should give our relationship a chance. I can't help but smile to myself, filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement.

After I take a shower and get dressed, I head downstairs. Everyone is already gathered in the living room, talking and laughing. The mood is light and happy, and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Me:"Hello, everyone," I say as I take a seat next to Zamo, who's smiling from ear to ear. Lubanzi is also here, sitting next to Andile. I catch his eye and wink at him. He grins back. As I scan the room, I see that Zibusiso's brothers are also here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with everyone chatting and laughing. The only exception is the tension that's palpable between Mr. Khoza and Zibusiso. They're both trying to act like nothing is wrong.

I look at Zibusiso and catch him looking at me. He's wearing a half-smile, his eyes soft and gentle. I smile back at him. Suddenly, Mrs. Khoza asks me to grab another bowl from the fridge. I get up and head to the kitchen. As I turn around to head back to the living room, I'm met by Zibusiso. He pulls me into a tight hug.

Me:"Someone might walk in here," I say, half-heartedly trying to sound concerned.

Him:"I don't care," he says, his voice low and husky. "You look beautiful today."

I blush, feeling my heart beat a little faster.

Me:"You're not so bad yourself," I reply, trying to sound casual, but failing miserably.

Him:"Let's go sit down," he says, releasing me from his embrace and leading me back to the living room. As we walk, I feel like my knees are going to buckle from the electricity between us.

We all sit around the table, enjoying the delicious food and the conversation that flows easily between us. Even Mr. Khoza seems to be enjoying himself, and I can't help but think that perhaps he's starting to come around. When everyone has finished eating, me, Noma, and Lubanzi clear the dishes and wash them up. Afterwards, we join the others outside, where we sit around with drinks and enjoy the late afternoon sun. The mood is light and happy, and I find myself laughing more than I have .

**********************************

The sun is setting, painting the sky in a beautiful blend of colors. A gentle breeze rustles through the trees, carrying the sound of laughter and conversation from the group gathered on the lawn. The air is filled with the scent of freshly mown grass, mingling with the smells of food and drink.

Zibusiso sits with his friends, watching the sunset and chatting about everything and nothing. He can't help but steal glances at Suku, who is laughing and chatting with Noma and Lubanzi. Mr. and Mrs. Khoza are also laughing at whatever they are talking about.

Suddenly, the air is filled with the sound of music. Everyone turns to look at the source of the sound, and sees that Noma has started to play a song on her guitar. The melody is sweet and joyful, and everyone begins to sway to the beat.

Zibusiso feels a sudden surge of emotion, and before he knows it, he's standing up and pulling Suku to her feet. He starts to dance with her, and she smiles up at him, her eyes twinkling .

As they dance, the world seems to fade away, and it's just the two of them, spinning in a slow, graceful circle. Suku's eyes are locked on his, and he feels like he could get lost in them forever. The music swells, and he finds himself singing along, his voice blending with Noma's.

The moment seems to last for an eternity, but all too soon, the song comes to an end. Zibusiso and Suku stop dancing, but they're still holding each other, their hearts beating fast. Zibusiso feels like he's floating, as if he's been transported to another world. In that moment, everything is perfect. But then, reality comes crashing back in, and he remembers where they are, and who they are to each other.

Slowly, reluctantly, they let go of each other. Everyone giggles &laughing at them.

The moment is cut short by the sound of a car pulling up outside, its engine rumbling ominously. Everyone looks up, and Zibusiso feels his stomach drop. He sees the flash of a gun barrel, and then the sound of gunshots fills the air. Everyone starts screaming, and  start running and trying to find cover.

Zamos cries echo through the air, and Suku rushes to her little sister, who is lying on the ground. She is about to reach her when she is hit by a bullet. Zibusiso sees her fall he gets up and was quick to catch her.

The car drives away, leaving behind a scene of chaos and terror. Everyone comes out of their hiding places, and they gather around Suku, who is lying on the ground, cradled in Zibusiso's arms.

Zibusiso looks down at her, his heart breaking as he sees the blood pooling around her body. He can't believe that this is happening, that she's been shot right in front of him. He feels numb, his mind unable to process what he's seeing.

Him:"Suku, please, please be okay," Zibusiso says, his voice shaking. He presses his hands against her wounds, trying to stop the bleeding. "You're going to be okay, I promise. Just hang on, please. I need you."

The others are watching in horror, not knowing what to do. None of them have ever seen anything like this before. They're all frozen in place, their eyes wide with fear and shock.

Suku tries to speak, but blood gushes from her mouth, making it difficult for her to talk. "I - I love you Zib -," she struggles to say, but Zibusiso can barely hear her over the sound of his own heart pounding in his ears.

"Please - please take care of - my little sister," she gasps out before her eyes flutter shut and she goes limp in his arms. Zibusiso's breath catches in his throat, and he feels like the world has stopped spinning.

Him:"No!No!Suku"he screams She's not breathing all of you do something dammit !
