Chapter 41 

Jade 

*I've cooped up in my study the whole day . I can't pin anything to him . What is he hiding . Tim has been her with me looking for the same thing . I called him early in the morning . Leon came a few minutes after looking rather awkward . Wonder what's up with him . He didn't stay much, though . Didn't even stay long . I kissed him, and he rushed to some sort of meeting with Jake . Even thinking about him makes me miss him. It's like he can feel that because just then, my phone rings, and his name flashes across the screen . It's a video call. I answer immediately with a huge smile on my face.*

Jade : What?

Leon : I love you too. 

*I blush and shake my head, staring at him.*

Jade : You left early. Why? 

Leon : I'm so sorry, babey . I had a meeting to rush to, but I promise to make it up to you . I sent something for you . 

Jade : What ? You do know i hate surprises, right? 

Leon : You'll love this one . Where Tim ? 

Jade : He's getting food.  

Leon : Good, he'll bring my gift to you . 

Jade : Whatever,  are you coming back tonight ?

Leon : Are you kicking me out ? 

*He asks with his shortened.*

Jade : I just wanna know if I have to make supper or not get over yourself . 

*He chuckles, revealing his side dimples. My man is cute . He probably takes after his mother.*

Leon : Cook for your man . I can't wait for dessert . 

*Tim lets himself in holding  a huge black teddy bear and a gift bag.*

Leon : And that smile tells me you love my suprise ? 

Jade : It's black . 

Leon : And ?

Jade : I love it.  

*I say, letting out a blush and winking at him as I put the phone down and grab the teddy for a tight hug .*

Leon : I'm happy you love the suprise . I love you . Bye . Don't forget to eat . Tim!

Tim : Noted !

Jade : Bye . 

Leon : I love you

Jade : I know . And I love the teddy more. 

Leon : I'm taking my gift back. 

Jade : You wish . Love you too, byee. 

Leon : Whatever happened to the I? 

*Jake enters his office, and he tuns his head to look at him*

Jake : Boss lady.  

Jade : Hey Jake and goodbye . Get back to work .

*I say and drop the call before he makes anything harder than it already is .*

Tim : Quit smiling and eat so we can get back to work . I think  I may be  onto something here .

Jade : Talk to me . 

*He takes one last bite and downs it with his juice before standing up and heading for the board.* 

Tim : Well, here goes nothing . See, Jack has all these guards  . Half of them are on your payroll . All of these guards are with him 24 / 7, but he is continuously visiting this particular apartment.  It's a house, but no one knows what I'd inside of it.

Jade : Could be one of his many houses . 

Tim : That's what I thought too, but why is it the only one with a huge amount of bodyguards.  What is he keeping in it, and why doesn't he want anyone to know about it .

Jade : It's not even under his name . It's registered under what's that name again? 

Tim : Amber Mikaelson.

Jade : Who is this Amber ? 

Tim : Far ahead of you . Amber Mikaelson, the one and only daughter of Jack Mikaelson . 

Jade : Interesting.  Very interesting.  But how are we getting  

Tim : Only certain people can get in . 

Jade : Whoever is in there is human and needs education. Do you think he's hiding his child in there ? This Amber ? Anywhi while I figure that out . You call Kim and Jerry so you guys can get started  on our next mission . 

Tim : Copy that.  

*Just like that, he gets up and heads to the headquarters, I think .*

Jade : What is in that apartment? I'll find out and you'll be waiting for me to expose you . I'll find out everything about you, Mikaelson, and when I do, you will beg for forgiveness . You will beg me to kill you . I will exact my revenge.
