Chapter 40 

Leon 

*I'm on my way to my father. He must tell me why the fuck did he get change of heart all of a sudden . What happened . I slowly park my car inside the garage and open the door heading inside . I nod my head at the helper and make my way to his study . I don't even knock but just let myself in. I find him staring at the window. With his back facing me .*

Jack Mikaelson: Why are you here? 

Leon : The fuck is wrong with you ? Are you seriously asking me to kill her ? What happened to the plan ? Get your things back then bring me mine then kill her? 

Jack Mikaelson: I had a change of heart and you don't have any right to question my fucken authority.  You do as I say.  I made you don't fuck with me.

Leon : I can't do it.

*And just like that, he spins his chair and turns to face me.*

Leon : What happened to you? 

*I ask, sniffling a laugh . Talk about a work of art.*

Jack : That bitch did this to me. 

*I feel my jaw tightening at him calling my Jade a bitch.*

Leon : Don't call her that!

*I warn . He smiles , actually chuckles staring at me.*

Jack : You've fallen in love with that monster.  Look what she fuckin did to me . Look at my face . I'm killing her . If you can do it . I will. 

Leon : I won't let you. You've destroyed my life and snatched away everything that makes me happy . I won't allow you to take Jade away from me. Over my dead body . 

Jack : That can be arranged . 

Leon : Let the games begin . 

*I say before abruptly getting up and heading for the door.*

Jack : I still have your mom and sister on my hold. 

*My grip on the door tightens as I feel my body  tense up . I can already feel the smirk on his face.*

Leon : Not for long . 

*I say and head out . I hear him breaking things and screaming in anger as I head to my car . This is war . It's now or never I have to come clean to the love of my life. I started my car after sending Jake everything that took place.*

Jack Mikaelson 

*This is a fucken mess. He's fallen in love . What a disappointment. I can't have a disappointment as a  son . No one is stopping me from killing that little devil . I regret not killing her when I had the chance . If he wants to die with her, then let him die . I finally calm my anger down and gulp my whisky.  Grab my phone and call in a favour.*

Him : What? 

Jack : Still have no sense of humor, huh? After so many years. 

Him : You were a friend of my fathers. I never liked you, so if you may just get to the point. 

*bloody son of a bitvh.*

Jack : Seeing as you've taken after your father as the sole heir. You must know that your dearest daddy owed me a favor.  

*He's quiet at the other side .  He's probably  waiting for me to get to the point .*

Jack: I'm cashing in on my favor . 

*Still nothing. Just breathing.*

Jack : There's someone I'd like to be erased from the face of earth permanently.  

Him : Send me the details. This doesn't mean I'm saying I'll do it . I'll think about it . I'm not my father.  

*And just like that, he hung up on me . Nobody hangs up on me. I'll deal with him after this little devil is out of my way.*
