Chapter 32

Jade 

*I just got home, and I'm covered in his cologne . I have to prevent  my mind from thinking about him. I calm my nerves down and stop my tears from falling . I'm so not getting rid of this outfit. I head for the headquarters and look for upcoming missions .*

Jade : Interesting.  

*We're stealing an art piece . It's worth millions. I send them all a text so they can come over so we can go through it . I head upstairs to shower again and try my best not to think about him . As soon as I'm done, I'm dressed in clean clothes that are mine, and the team has already arrived and is waiting on me. I make my way in, and Kim is eating  while Tim is on his computer, and well Jerry is trying a new wig.*

Jade : Morning . 

Kim : Hey.

Jerry : What do you think? 

Tim : Morning ma'am 

Jade : We have a new mission.  

Tim : I received the memo . This one is complicated . 

Jade : Yes and ..

*Just then, the bell rings.*

Jade : Who's that? 

Kim : I'll get it . I invited the new team.  

Jade : What new team?

*And she's already out . I'm looking at these two waiting for them to say anything, and they just ignore me. I sigh, and as soon as the door opens, the hair on my back rises up. His cologne hits my nostrils. I curse silently . Couldn't they at least let me know that they're calling these 2 . Ok, whatever .*

Leon : Hey.  

Jake : Hey. 

*I breathed in and out before focusing on the board.*

Jade : We have direct orders to kill him. Tim.  

Tim : He's part of human trafficking and specifically targets kids from orphanages. 

Jade : I will kill him myself. 

Kim : But that's my favorite thing to do. 

Jade : We went to school together.  He's always been a jerk but also always had a thing for me. 

Leon : What thing? 

*He questions  abruptly .*

Kim : Probably had a crush?

Jade : More like an obsession . I moved in order to get away from his possessiveness and stop myself from killing him every night. Imagine how easy it'll be to wipe his entire estate clean and dance on top of his body. 

Jerry : Euw . 

Jade : Here's how it'll go . He has an event coming soon, and I'll be there with Kim . I'll ensure that he sees me and approaches me . He'll obviously invite me to the art auction, which is where you guys will be needed . We have a week to look and snoop around for anything we can find on him . Tim will be the eyes, and Jerry will be there as someone who'd like to buy the art piece.

Kim : What's so special about this one. 

Jade : It's made and covered in diamond .

*I say and show everyone the image of the art piece.*

Jerry : It's beautiful.
