Chapter 23 

Jade 

*Fuck my head hurts like shit . It's the second day and it's a lot  later . I couldn't care less. I still can't walk properly, and I have to meet up the team to discuss mission Gold today . I'm happy no one disturbed my sleep, not that I would even hear anyone, but hey, whatever . I bathed one last time and wore my track pants with my black hoodie . I have a whole closet of them . I do a bit of yoga in order to try to loosen my legs so I can walk better, and no one can notice any difference. Moments later, I'm done and making my way to the headquarters.  I'll have someone bring me something to eat in there . I don't think I have the strength to walk much longer . As soon as I get there, I quickly throw myself into the couch.*

Kim : Where did you disappear? 

Jade : Don't wanna talk about it. 

Tim : Seeing as you all finally made it here . 

Jade : Whoa, where's Jerry? 

*I ask, scanning the room and looking for him.*

Jerry : Over here!

*I hear him say but still can't see him.*

Kim : He's  under that huge pile of pillows.  

*Only then do I notice that there's a mountain of pillows and see his hand waving .*

Jade : Oh .  You can continue. 

*He nods and starts displaying the layout of the building and everything we'll need from the outside to the inside and visa versa.*

Kim : It's a huge building . 

Jerry : Massive . 

Tim : Wait for it . We need an inside man, and I think we have one, and this is amazing because it's going to help us see his worth, and if he's really trustworthy. 

Kim : That's a lot of talking, and half of it I didn't get. 

Jade : Leon? 

*He nods, and I sigh out loud, forcing the pillow down my throat. Can't I get a day without seeing that man . I can't seem to control myself, and now apparently my body when he's near.*

Jade : Fine.  I'll call him . Now here's how everything will go . Seeing that Leon and Jake are partially on our side, we will need Leon here and the one who will be exchanging money for the gold like always . Jake, on the other hand, is Leon's right-hand man . Jerry is on the car as the driver and Tim the eyes and ears . Kim and I will act as the guards of the gold . I already have a man who'll make sure we  both are in . I have our uniforms already prepared, and we're moving in a day . I'm hungry right now . Tim, please get my food.
