Chapter 12 

Jade 

*My entire body hurts like shit . I can't seem to move a muscle . I hear voices coming closer as I shut my eyes.*

 

Jerry : I still don't get why we didn't send her to the hospital.  I mean, she could've woken up by now.

Kim : And risk having those 2 psychos after us . Nope, I can't do it. Anywho, she's  recovering well to the herbs I gave her .

Tim : She has to wake up and get a buyer for the diamonds . 

*I slowly open my eyes only to find them staring right at me.*

Jade : Fuck y'all scared the shit out of me. 

Jerry  : You're really awake ? 

Kim : Took you long enough . 

Jade : Thank you now why can't I move . 

Kim : It'll wear off in exactly 4 minutes, so just calm down, and I'll get you some water . 

*She says, hurrying out to get me some water . I assume .*

Jade : Both of you give me feedback so long . 

Jerry : I just wanna say damn you can fall. I literally thought you would've died. 

Tim :  Seriously? 

Jerry : What? I had to get it out there . 

Jade : Thank you now, please?

Jerry : Oh yeah, yeah, sorry. Um, so the 2 guys still think you have a male boss. 

Jade : It's time. 

*They both  give me confused expressions. It's time to actually reveal myself to them . It's not my physical appearance but the worst nightmares appearance .*

Jade : Schedule a meeting with both of them . I have to find out what they want from me . 

Tim : But ma'am isn't showing them your face going to risk everything we're working towards ?

Jerry : Your revenge ? Your family ? 

*I let out a deep breadth. I had Tim brief them up about my past.*

Jade : We won't let him see that I'm a female . Tim will be me.  

Kim : I bet that sounded way better in your head? 

*She says, getting closer to me with a plate full of food.  She really thinks I'm a fan of food.*

Kim : Don't worry.  We'll share the food . Drink up and gain some strength. 

*She says, forcing me to drink a weird looking thing that I  have never seen before. It's horrible.*

Jade : What is this? 

Jerry : Probably one of her special herbs . I pray I never get in a crossfire and end up in your situation. 

Kim : Mnxm, we're not sharing .
