Chapter 24 

Jade

*It's a day before the mission. I just came from training with Kim . Everything seems to be going well . Leon and Jake are on board with everything . I haven't had any encounter with Leon as of yet. We're only meeting up later on today, and we aren't actually meeting up, but we're finalizing everything tonight . I've been having a busy week with going to the office for back to back meetings and also ensuring that everything is going okay with everything here with the missions and all . I'm heading to my room for a quick shower before meeting up with Leon and Jake . I opted out for a suit with a black bodysuit and*

Jade : I really need to go to the saloon for my hair. 

*As soon as I'm done with my routine, I make my way downstairs, where I find the rest of the gang already waiting for me.*

Kim : You look hot. 

Jade : Thank you very much. Can we leave? 

Jerry : Yep. Where are we meeting them? 

Jade : Tim's place. 

Kim : Oh . That's why he's not here . But why his place, though? 

Jade : Much more safety and guarded in case of any funny business . Lots of cameras are installed in it. 

Kim : Makes sense. 

Jerry : Who's driving ? 

Jade : I'm taking my car . 

Kim : Jerry, you're driving.  

Jerry : I don't get why you even brought a car if you weren't intended on driving it . 

Kim : What? I'm too lazy to drive, and I've got you, ain't I.   You wouldn't want anything happening to me, would you? 

*He rolls his eyes as they make their way out . I grab my car keys and follow right behind them.*

Leon 

*We just got finished with everything and are waiting for the lady in charge to give us a command so we can get going.  I haven't received any request from my dad as of late, but I've been getting calls with my mom and little sister now and again . It pains me so fucking much not knowing where they are and not being able to do anything to save them.*

Jake : Hey , hey don't overthink all of this . We can do this okay? It's actually very simple . Gain their trust and attack at their lowest. 

*My heart starts beating faster at those words like I'm not the one who influenced him to think like that . It's been taking a toll on me to not think about her . I've been keeping tabs on her for a while, and she's very smart . She changes routines every day . No one can ever predict her . I haven't gotten even a glimpse of their layer . Her house is fully protected with cameras everywhere. This is the only way, and I have to do it .  For my family.*

Leon : Yeah . For momma and little munchie .

*I say, staring at the picture of the 3 of us when she was still an infant . She's almost 5 now . It's been 3 years since my dad kept the away from me and started controlling my every move.*

Jake : Good.  It's amazing. Keep it up and stop having a smug face. 

*I roll my eyes and just them a message pings in my phone and I quickly grab it and stare at the address she sent us.*

Jake : Is that her? 

Leon : Yep, let's drive . 

*I say, grabbing my car keys while he grabs his and follows after me as we head for the unknown location .*
