CHAPTER FORTY THREE

Nqubeko managed to squeeze me in for an appointment. I didn't want to take a home pregnancy test, I want to be certain about this. 'Okay, I need you to relax.' He says as he positions the needle, ready to pierce me with it. I hold my breath and close my eyes as it pierces through my flesh. The process doesn't take very long and I barely felt anything. 'Alright, we have your blood. I'll take them to the lab and contact you once they come back, okay?' I nod and get up form the bed. 'Thank you so much. And please don't tell Akani about this, I want to tell him myself.' He nods and helps me get off the bed. If I am indeed pregnant then I'll tell him on the night of our wedding, when its just us two, in the quiet of the night.
