Through Thick & Thin

CHAPTER THREE

After a busy night of serving my age mates and almost slapping most of them because their hands somehow, always found themselves on my ass, I can finally rest. It was an incredibly busy night for the beginning of the year but then I remembered that its probably the batch of freshmen students who are not used to the city life. We barely had any break besides the bathroom break and the couple of shots that Sizwe, the barman managed to sneak into our locker room, to help give us the strength we needed to get through the night. Between you and I, I may have been blessed with the best colleagues a girl can ever ask for, especially in this industry. After packing the chairs up, to make it easier for the cleaners, I sit down and kick my heels off, massaging my almost swollen feet. I suddenly envy those who work the day shift because its less busy but then again, the tips are not as good and generous.

'Please bring my things,' I say to Lele as I hand her the key to my locker. To think that I won't even get much sleep after such a busy night and I have to work one more night shifts after this. But then I can't complain when I'm the one who chose this life. I could have easily decided to work two day shifts and two night shifts but Lele managed to convince me that night shifts have way more money and I listened to her. I thank her when she hands me my trench coat and hand bag. I stuff the money I made tonight in my purse before reaching out for my phone. I have a missed call from Nkosi and a text saying my driver is outside. I don't waste anymore time as I bid Lele a goodbye, along with everyone else who is still in the club. I spot a white car outside matching the description of my uber and enter.

The driver was nice, offered me water and gum and then went on to play the radio in a low volume, just loud enough for him to hear. I then remember to call Nkokheli to tell him I won't be back home before he loses his mind and turns our township upside down. 'Wasekhaya,' he answers in a groggy voice as if he just woke up. I don't even know why he calls me that but he doesn't want to stop. 'I won't be back home, I'll be back tomorrow.' I inform him, jumping straight to the point because I hate it when people beat around the bush when talking to me. 'Are you going to lekhehla lakho or what?' I roll my eyes. He knows very well where I'm going, he should just be grateful that I didn't leave work with a stranger that will probably chase me out in the middle of the night like I'm some prostitute. 'I'll text you my every move so you don't go around acting crazy.' I then hang up.

In a couple of minutes, I am getting dropped off at the gate and Bonginkosi is opening the gate for me. He is in his sleepwear while I look like I'm doing the walk of shame in a tight and short burgundy dress that barely holds my breasts in place. He gives me a quick peck on the lips before leading me inside his house. He is probably the only reason why I have ever set foot in the suburbs. He has an oddly nice house for an unmarried man. And at his age, I would be worried if I weren't married. I never really believed him when he told me that he wasn't, he probably has a wife that works away from home and comes only once in a while. But I can't write him off just because I have trust issues and he has never really given me a reason to not trust him. 'How was your night at work?' He asks as he hands me a cup of coffee.

I smile softly at him and thank him before answering. 'Draining, tiring, exhausting, you can fill in the blanks.' He chuckles softly as he cracks the eggs into a bowl. How grateful I am to have a man who is considerate. If it were any other man, he would expect me to be making the breakfast, in fact, I would not even be working at Blue Moon or any other club, to begin with. After drinking my coffee, I head to take a quick shower in the primary bedroom before heading back for breakfast. He made a subtle English breakfast with toasted slices of bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, slices of fresh tomato and a hash brown. After eating, I wash the dishes and retire to the bedroom. I moan in satisfaction as my body relaxes against the soft material of the bed sheets and close my eyes but nothing comes after that.

Between my raging thoughts and everything that is happening in my life, I can just be grateful that I have a life that is much better than someone else's. The bed dips as Nkosi settles next to me. I smile when I feel him hovering over me and slowly open my eyes. His hand caresses my cheek before he presses my lips against mine. I have not realized how much I longed to feel his body against mine, before now. His kiss is slow and gentle, just like how he is. He presses the weight of his body on my body and slowly begins to grind his hard crotch against my aching one. I throw my arms around him, and allow him to raise the t-shirt I am sleeping in so it bunches around my waist. He breaks the kiss and looks into my eyes as he positions his shaft against my slit. I watch as his face consorts to many different expressions as he slides it inside of me, slowly and carefully. I moan softly and clench around his girth after he manages to insert all of it.

I moan louder as he begins to thrust and take in his incredibly heavy breathing. He mumbles incoherent words in my ear as he gently makes love to me. My eyes roll to the back as I feel the buildup of pleasure, pulling him flush against me. I find myself lost in the pleasure, my many thoughts long forgotten as I savor the feeling of his length, sliding in and out of my wet slit. 'Shit, Uhuru, I'm close,' he whispers in my ear before his head disappears to the crook of my neck, in which his mouth devours as he begins to suck on the one spot that always brings me closer to my mark. His one hand grasps my breast and he squeezes it as he begins to increase his pace. 'God knows how much I missed this,' he says as he thrusts faster, throwing his head back as the sound of our skin meeting fill the room, along with my moans.

With a loud cry, I clench around his cock as I begin to tremble in nothing but pure bliss. My orgasm wrecks through me, illiciting his own as he cums with a loud groan. He then throws himself right next to me and we lay down in comfortable silence as we try to catch our breaths. 'You are amazing,' he says and we both laugh lightly. After a couple more minutes, Nkosi gets up and heads to the bathroom. I feel something warm and soft brushing against my skin and I realize that Nkosi must be cleaning up the mess he left down there. I, on the other hand, find myself not able to keep my eyes open any longer. But before I drift off, I hear the words that come so easily from him that its hard to believe, 'I love you, Uhuru.' With a gentle smile, I allow myself to fall into a dreamless slumber.
