Through Thick & Thin
CHAPTER THIRTY SIX
Akani and I spent the whole day together yesterday, and we spent the whole morning together too. I have to go to Kwanobamba tomorrow and I am not certain of how long I will be staying there. While I'm gone, mama will be coming clean to her inlaws about what she has done. I'm finally opening my heart up to Mr Mdluli because its hypocritical of me to forgive mama and holds grudges against Mr Mdluli, or should I say my father? I'm standing by the mirror, looking at the reflection as I get myself ready. Akani walks in from the bathroom and makes his way to me. He stands behind me and wraps his arms around me. 'You look so good in this dress, makes me want to take it off.' I look at him through the reflection. 'If you take it off, we're going to be all the more late.'
