3 Hours Later…

Mabutho had been here for the past three long, dragging hours, and every minute felt heavier than the last. When he first arrived, he found Ncanezwe fast asleep on the bed, looking nothing like the strong, loud-mouthed younger brother he knew. What made it worse was that Qhawe was nowhere to be found. No explanation. No message. No sign. So, he did what he always does when his mind threatens to break. He sat outside in his BMW 325i, chain-smoking cigarette after cigarette, trying to keep himself sane. The same question kept circling in his head like a vulture waiting for a carcass:
