NARRATOR.

Amanda pushes the trolley full of groceries out of Woolworths Food, her heels clicking against the tiled floor with a rhythm that matches her mood — firm, graceful, and unbothered. She's bought everything she feels she needs to cook for her in-laws. After all, the last time they saw her, chaos followed — when that little skank decided to try her husband.

She exhales softly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she packs the bags neatly into the boot of the car. She shuts it, dusts off her hands, and just when she's about to get in, she hears someone calling her name.

"Amanda!"
That voice. She turns slowly, her designer sunglasses sliding down slightly as her eyes land on the one woman she least wanted to see today. The skank herself.
