CHAPTER 68
SNEAKY LINK#68
Sandile drove inside his family yard and parked upfront. He killed the engine before getting out with his daughter in arms. He walked to the backseat and got her bags before walking inside the house.
He smiled when he saw his kids sleeping on the couch.
"Mama won't they fall off?"
"No they're still too you to rollover."
"Mmh I came to fetch them and then gift you with a little princess."
"Where's her mother?"
"Let me sit down I'll tell you. Did you cook mamam?"
"No Sandile go find a wife to cook for you."
Sandile laughed as he put Linathi next to her brothers. They looked so much like him he felt proud of himself.
"I still can't believe I'm a father of three."
"When are you marrying that girl?"
"We're launching next weekend then after we'll be planning our wedding."
"Did you propose?"
"Yeah a couple of months back. I kind of did not break up with Linathi's mother and she found the ring and thought it's hers."
"You see if you don't have your priorities straight Endy will leave you. Girls like her don't need a man it doesn't matter how much you claim to love them. The minute they feel you're undeserving they leave. Trust me I know. I wished I was her for so long I deprived your brother a chance at love. Don't deprive yourself that too or you'll forever regret it. And if you do marry her don't ever cheat it doesn't matter how hard it is to fight temptation but always know that Endy is the type to choose herself no matter what. I have said my piece."
Sandile sighed rubbing his face as he let his mother's words sink in.
"I'm going to get my woman."
"Leave the kids once you two sort out your differences come get them."
"Thank you mama."
"You're welcome."
Sandile took his car keys and walked out of the house getting in his car and drove off.
....................
Mandilakhe parked outside the nanny's house Mandisa and walked in just as his phone rang.
"Baby where are you? My water just broke."
"The **** Milisa you ain't due until next week."
"Get here Mandilakhe!!!"
"I'm coming."
He turned going back to his car just as Mandisa paddled out of the house pushing her big belly out. He got to him.
"Why are you living?"
"Milisa is in labour."
"She s..."
"And you wonder why I would never go for you. Mhi I brought your things."
He pushed the plastic to her and drove off heading to Milisa's rental. He found her already waiting outside.
"Baby you're not wearing anything warm."
"Mandilakhe can you just shut up!!"
Mandilakhe helped her into the back of the car and drove off heading to the hospital.
"I'm getting a divorce."
"Good for you. I'm sure you can't wait to go to Endy."
"Can we not involve Endy in this. I'm here with you not her."
...............
Zikho poured a glass of wine for herself and sighed resting on the couch. Good for her that little tyrant wasn't here. Sandile should keep her she thought to herself.
The front door opened and she jumped almost spilling herself with wine.
"Mama what are you doing here?"
"I should ask you why do you want to kill my child Zikho? Isn't it enough that you've killed yourself and left me bare wanting you back? Yintoni Zikho? Why do you do all these things? Do you know how many nights I tossed and turned in bed asking God to protect you when you were out galavanting? Do you know how much my heart broke when I found you laying on a pool of blood in your bed claiming a miscarriage when you were aborting? You have killed me so many times but I'm still here waiting for you to love yourself just once. To choose you and not always depend on man. Do you know that Endy the girl that took Sandile from you once called me at night pleading with me to tell you to let her be? How do you sleep at night knowing a woman was beaten black and blue because of you? Mntanam I'm not sorry Sandile left you I'm only sorry because when you're like this I'm the one who's hurting the most and you go around tell people I don't love you. Kill me then Zikho!!! Kill me mntanam and take my heart you'll see for yourself!! Ndibulale Zikho!!! Kill me!! Andithi yilonto oyifunayo? Ukundibona ndifile?!! Ndibulale Zikho!!!"
