Mandilakhe walked out of the bathroom looking at his brother with a frown. He was back early and he seemed upset.
"And then?"
"I didn't find her and she's not answering her phone. Some guy I saw there said she got a hike from some guy named Kabelo."
"Kabelo? Nx yazi uEndy undiqhela kakubi. So she's c..."
"Stop being a hypocrite. You're getting married right now but still obsessing over that girl."
"I'm not obsessing Lakhe I love her."
"Then tell me bhuti why didn't you marry her?"
"Bra Endy is not the type of girl you bring home to your parents. You know her."
"You're right I know her and I know she deserves better than you're giving her and trust me bhuti she's going to move on from you and you'll be left swallowing alone ngoba that rural girl you just married is not it for you. Let me get going. Congratulations on your wedding."
Mandilakhe watched his brother walking away. He didn't regret his decision of marrying Nobantu. The girl was humble, she never back chatted him and she cooked and did his laundry she was a true wife material.
He walked to his car calling Endy but it just rang unanswered. He felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned and smiled looking at his wife.
She shyly smiled looking away from him. She was light in complexion and she had a beautiful curvicious body although she had nothing on Endy.
"Mama tells me you're leaving tonight?"
"Yes I have to go check on work but I'll be back later tomorrow and take you to our new house. How are you feeling is the little one behaving?"
He asked brushing her big stomach. She smiled sweetly at him blushing.
"Yes but I'm tired my feet are swollen."
"Sorry mma. Come we'll get this all over with then I'll give you a foot massage. Where is your sister?"
"She went to check on my uncle they're probably outside the yard."
"Those two are close."
"Really close."
"Mmmh."

Later that day Endy walked inside her one room flat. She took of her heels walking in the white fluffy carpet. She slumped on the bed calling her father.
"Ntombam."
"Tata did you get the money?"

"End of this month. I sold the fridge and microwave and got some money."
"What are you thinking?"
"I'm still not sure tata but I'll keep on saving."
"Do that."
"Where's Akhona?"
"She's in the kitchen cooking."
"How's the little one?"
"She took him to the clinic earlier today but he's okay."
"I'm thinking of taking him next year so Akhona can go back to school."
"Didn't she tell you?"
"Tell me what?"

She makes umphokoqo and eats. After eating she washes her dishes and takes a bath also. She goes to discard the water outside.
She looks at Mandilakhe's car driving inside the yard and sighed going inside her flat.
