The following day Zikho stirred in bed she got up and her eyes landed on Sandile sitting on the couch with his daughter in his arms.
She smiled looking at them. Sandile looked up at her and smiled weakly. He didn't seem okay at all.
"When did you get back?"
"Earlier this morning. It's past 11 shouldn't you be at your sisters place?"
"God I forgot."
She got up running to the bathroom. She took a quick shower dried herself then lotioned . She walked to the closet and put on a maxi dress and slides.
She looked at the door. He wasn't insight. She walked to where she had seen the ring and looked it was still there. Maybe he was still going to propose to her she just has to be patient.
"I'm leaving. Will you be okay with her?"
"Yeah I'll be fine."
She kissed his forehead catching a whiff of a sweet perfume on him. She frowned but shook her head. She went to see his mother and she didn't want to push him off by confronting him about sweet perfumes.
"I love you."
"Me too."
She walked off going to the car she got as a gift from him. She smiled getting inside it. She drove off headed to her sisters place.

Lakhe walked inside the guestroom in Nobantu and Mandilakhe's house wiping his head. Mandilakhe walked in behind him.
"Mfethu Nobantu told me you got here drunk last night."
"Damn I'm never drinking that much again in my life."
They both laughed as they recalled last nights escapades. Lakhe's mind drifted of to the steamy night he had with Nobantu.
He didn't think it would be that good. His dic$ twitched just by thinking about it. He shook his head getting rid of those thoughts.
"Where were you anyways? You left earlier than us."
"I went to see that girl."
"Which one?"
"The one who was my son's nanny. She's pregnant I don't even know how ngoba I always used a condom with her even giving her morning after pills."
"Where do you discard the used condoms?"
"At her place why?"
"You're stupid yazi? How do you live used condoms at your sides place? Don't you know how desperate these girls are? You're married Mandilakhe I don't even want to think of what your wife will do if she finds out."
"Nobantu won't leave me if that's what you're worried about."

"You should look at her again. That girl is not the same one you met few years back she has changed. Even mama can see it. You're not that blind are you?"
"I'm not blind mfethu. I know the woman I married even if she puts on m..."

A text reported in Lakhe's phone. He read it.
"One of Sandile's boys is at the hospital let's go."
"Hospital? What happened?"
"I don't know."
They bumped into Nobantu at the lounge. She streched her legs her **** out to play. Lakhe put his hands on his pockets looking away from her.
"Endy is at the hospital one on her twins is not okay."
"I'm coming with."
They all walked out of the house driving away.
