CHAPTER 67
SNEAKY LINK#67
Endy rubbed her hands together as she waited for Zikhona in her lounge. She looked at the beautiful toddler walking around imagining her kids in a few months. She smiled involuntarily.
"They grow up so fast. Soon you'll wish they stayed at 3 months."
"Tell me about it. Mine are only a 4 months old it feels like yesterday."
"Yeah."
Endy sighed as she noticed Zikhona's face drop. She patted the space next to hers and she sat down.
"Has Zikho ever told you about Prince?"
"Yeah they dated about 2 years ago."
"I was dating him when she started seeing him. She knew I was in the picture. She used to work in his restaurant. When I found out they were together I was hurt ngoba I thought mna naye were friends she'd always talk to me when I went to see him. He told me she seduced him and I believed him. They broke up but a few weeks later things changed Princ would beat me up accusing me of sleeping around. I didn't understand the sleeping around part. This time around I found her texting him with pictures of me and clients from work saying I'm sleeping with them. She said so many things kanti she knew Prince is not mentally stable and used every tactic to have him beat me and rape me."
Endy looked up blinking away her tears. Zikhona wiped her own before hugging Endy.
"I moved on from him and her I found out a few months later that you were her twin sister. I was surprised because you're nothing like her. I really did move on until I saw her with Sandile. Honestly I didn't want him but then he came at me and God that man is charming as hell. You know him I'm sure you've noticed. I took a chance and here I am. I honestly have nothing against your sister I believe we just met in bad circumstances."
Zikhona exhaled leaning back on the couch.
...............
Nobantu smiled walking inside her apartment. Lakhe looked up beaming at her. She looked good in the tight dress she had on.
"Look at you glowing."
"Ha.a Lakhe flattery won't get you anywhere big boy."
"But it got me you. Come give me a kiss."
"Not happening. I called my lawyer today he's drawing up the divorce papers."
"You two are married in community of property?"
"Yeah but I only want the house and maintenance money for the kids."
"Do you have savings?"
"Yep and a man who has a net worth of 3 million."
Lakhe laughed getting up from the couch. He went to her in the kitchen and kissed her neck while fondling her breast.
"So does that mean you're officially mine?"
"The divorce is not finalized yet and you haven't told your bab..."
"Ohh I did she swore at me but understands. I love you."
"You were not supposed to love me wena you're just sneaky."
"I know but you love me like this."
"Mandilakhe is going to lose his mind when he finds out."
"As he should. My brother is so lucky yazi he always gets good woman but then he fucks it up all by himself."
"Enough about him. I downloaded a new series check my laptop."
"Okay. Let me change into something comfortable."

Nomsa walked inside her aunt's house with her son in her back. Her aunt got up smiling at her.
"I want to see him."
"He just slept but you can take him. How are you?"
"I'm okay I'm finally opening that spaza shop next week."
"That's a good business idea but you to make sure you have burglar doors and windows and an alarm too."
"Won't that cost too much?"
"Not for your safety aunty. I got you a few things I'm coming."
She walked back to her car and came with plastics. She put them in the kitchen and then put everything by its place.
"How's being a mother?"
"I really can't complain my son is a sweetheart. I'm starting work next week monday I just don't feel good leaving him with a nanny."
"Why are you working? He's still young Nomsa."
"I know aunty but I don't want to be dependent on anyone you know me."
"I know is Xhanti okay with that?"
"Yes he wants us to look for a nanny but I wanted to ask you if you could watch him for me. It's okay if you can't."
"How are we going to do it kaloku you stay in the city and I'm here."
"I really didn't think that far. Okay please look for someone you can trust for me."
"I can do that. This one looks just like his father."
Her aunt said almost bitterly. Nomsa didn't pay her any mind.
