CHAPTER 50
SNEAKY LINK#50
The following day Sands woke up and bathed both the twins. Kungoyolo was just a sweetheart nothing like the loud Kulunga who's always needy of attention.
After bathing them he fed them one at a time. He helped them burb before laying them on his chest as he sat at the rocking chair.
He fell asleep sitting there. His mother walked inside the bedroom and stopped on her tracks looking at him.
She smiled and walked to the bathroom. She prepared a bath for the new mother putting in the salts.
She walked back to the bedroom and woke her up. She smiled at her, the girl was really pretty. You couldn't even tell that she just gave birth.
"Come bath. I've made you something to eat. Olunje said you want some meat."
"Ewe mama."
"I made you something. I added salts in there. You have to heal fast. You know how man are after a month he'll be already looking for it outside."
"He's not mine anyways mama. So he can do whatever he wants."
Sandile's mother looked at her straight in the eye and smiled shaking her head.
"I wasn't born yesterday mntanam. I know you love him and he loves you too otherwise if he didn't he wouldn't be here. He wouldn't even have called me to come help you. I want to admit that I didn't like you at all but the way Sandile describes you is not what I thought you were. I'm sorry I pushed Mandilakhe to marry someone else whilst I knew he loved you."
"Huuu mama I dodged a bullet there, that's one thing I'm greatful for."
Endy turned to look at him. She was mad that he didn't tell her about Mandilakhe being his brother but in all honesty she didn't care.
Mandilakhe chose himself so this was her doing what her wanted. And she definitely wanted Sandile that she was sure of. Maybe even loved him. She wasn't sure on that part
................
Mandilakhe walked inside his house early in the morning. He looked at Nobantu stretching in the lounge.
"Hey why did you sleep at the office?"
"I was tired. I tried calling you."
"Your brother has twins boys."
"Huh? His girlfriend has a 4 months old kid morc?"
"Yep he has another girlfriend. She gave birth yesterday apparently bebengazi until yesterday."
"Yhoo does the girlfriend know."
"No she doesn't. Can you send me 5k I want to get something at the mall."
"Take the card and withdraw I want to sleep. I'm not going in today."
"Okay. Your mother dropped the kids with my aunt she went to see the babies."
"Okay. I'll go see them later."
"Mhh."
Later that morning Nobantu finished doing her make up putting on lip gloss on her lips.
Mandilakhe stirred in bed opening his eyes. His eyes landed on Nobantu in a black body hugging dress with heels.
She looked good. Too good. The weave on her head looked good on her.
"I'm going I'll be back later. Ohh and Sandile is on his way to see you."
"Okay."
Nobantu walked just as Mandilakhe's phone rang. He looked at the door and heard the front door closing before answering.
"I told you not to call me."
"What should I do? I mis..."
"Tell me if I made a mistake approaching you. I'm a happily married man. I don't need you I'll drop you right this minute if you continue with this."
"I'm s..."
He dropped his call blocking her number. He got up and went on to take a shower.
Meanwhile Sands parked his car outside and got out locking it. He walked inside the house and got a bottle of water from the fridge before going to the lounge and turning on the tv.
A while later Mandilakhe walked down the stairs typing on his phone.
"You'll trip and fall."
"Shoot you scare the hell out of me. When did you get here?"
"A few minutes ago. Come I have something to talk to you about."
He walked up to him and sat opposite him waiting.
"Remember that girl I told you about?"
"Yeah the sneaky link you caught feelings for?"
"Yeah. We found out yesterday that she's pregnant. She gave birth to twins two boys. Kulunga and Kungoyolo and she's your ex."
"My ex?"
"Yeah Endinako."
"What the hell?!!! Break up with her dude. You can't be w..."
"Ha.a I'm not breaking up with that girl. Not for you or anyone else. I love her and I'm going to marry her like it or not."
"Mama doesn't want her as her daughter in-law."
"I'm not marrying her for my mother. She's going to be my wife not hers. I came to tell you that."
"I'm going to tell your girlfriend."
"And I'm going to tell your wife about your little family in Nkandla."
