CHAPTER 24

SNEAKY LINK

#24

Monday morning Endy walked out of her house just as a black Ford raptor parked outside her yard. She locked up and walked to her car looking at it. It didn't seem familiar to her.

"Morning sweetheart!"

"Sands leave."

"I came to pick you up."

She walked up to him and stopped on his window. He smiled but she kept a straight face.

"Sands you seem to not understand our arrangement."

"I understand."

"No you don't. I know how to drive I have my own car. What I need from you is *** exactly what you need from me. You'll come pick me up during lunch for our check up that's the only time you'll be picking me up. When you need me you'll call or text but I would prefer a text I hate phone calls. You pick a place we're going to be fucking at. I prefer hotels or bnb not a dump. Car *** is hot but I like risky endeavors. Make sure you don't get caught and don't get to excited. I don't like cuddles and clingy man give me a bad headache with a rush in my head. Is it a hotel or you have a place in mind?"

"A place in mind."

"Thank you. Now you can go."

She turned walking back to her car when she heard a muttered fuc&. She smiled getting in. She looked at him driving off and took her home calling her **** buddy.

"Madam."

"Hey. We've come to the end of our agreement."

"But I..."

"Your wife is sniffing around tiger. Delete everything connecting you to me bye."

She dropped the call and deleted his number driving off to work. She walked inside pressing her phone.

"Miss White there's a Mr Lukhele waiting for you in your office."

"Thank you Joy."

She walked up to her office and found Mandilakhe sitting in. She sighed and smiled at him sitting down.

"Mr Lukhele."

"Miss Mhlophe."

"How can I be of help?"

"The boss refered me to you. I'm the new company lawyer."

"Well welcome aboard. Here's your contract I'll be expecting it before lunchtime. I'll get someone to show you your office."

"Don't worry I've already seen it."

"Great and congratulations on your new company."

"Thank you it was your idea anyways."

"I know. Let me show you out."

Her office door opened and she sighed looking at the man.

"Have a nice day Mr Lukhele."

Mandilakhe got up leaving. Mark sat on the chair opposite Endy with a frown on his face.

"Mark I don't appreciate you badging in my work place like this."

"Why are you ending our agreement?"

"Because I want to and I can."

"We were okay just friday what is this now?"

"We are not fine Mark. You're the ministers secretary anything scandalous you do will result in his downfall and I know when your wife finds out she'll make sure she destroys you and your career."

"I love you Endy."

"I told you no feelings should be involved. Look Mark I don't want to have to go to the police for harassment please respect my decision."

"It's fine. I'll see you around."

He walked out sighing. Endinako twirled her chair trying to calm her nerves down. It was going to be hard to be working with Mandilakhe without wanting to strangle him to death.

She never thought that one day she'll be a hater for love like she is today. She tried moving on after Mandilakhe but that man he was worse than any of her exes. The kind of man you fear when walking down the street.

She remembers the late nights when he'd lock her inside the wardrobe and **** other girls while she listened. And that last time he beat her until she woke up from a coma.

After him she swore off man. She didn't need a man in her life. Getting a sneaky link was the only way she could maintain that promise.
