Chapter 23

My morning began with a pack of salt crackers, ginger tea and a sunrise gaze. It was still 5:39 and I was already tired. Jama had suggested I quit my job already, but I was scared I'd go crazy being all alone in this house.

I lived for just my baby and I, more than anything now. It was all grace just falling onto me. I rubbed my tummy countless times, speaking life to him. I needed him to be filled with greatness.

Jama kissed my forehead goodbye as he headed to work. I needed to go to mine too, and I was somewhat hesitant. I wanted to call in sick but then…that would mean I'd have to be unproductive the whole day which would bore me.

I slipped into my pink scrubs and was driven to work. I did checkups with a few patients and then…Ms Ponds called me so to inform me of my guest.
