Chapter 79 

*Season Finale.*

Drake 

*I just got out of a meeting, and I'm freaking hungry . My phone rings, and it's a group call from Dante. Alex is also included .*

Drake : Hey, living human beings. 

Alex : Morning Drake . Morning Dante . 

Dante :  I have great news . 

Alex : We greeted.  

Drake : Spill . 

Dante : Sorry, Alex . Good morning.

Alex : I forgive you.  It must be the excitement.  So what is the great news . I also have something to say, but if you want to say yours first because you did call the meeting, then feel free.

Drake : Just say what you want to say, Alex . I'm sure yours is better.    

Dante : Yep, say anything you want first. I'll save mine, which is the best for last.  

Alex : Thank you very much .  That was the goal. I want to marry Ella.  

*What??*

Drake : I think it's the pregnancy. I thought I heard you saying  you want to marry Ella . 

Dante : I heard that, too . Are you for real? 

Alex : You both heard correctly, and Drake, you are really jot pregnant . It's just you experiencing pregnancy symptoms.  Anyway, as I was saying, I am going to propose to her soon.  I asked her if she would like to get married to me, and she said that would make her the happiest woman on earth. I love her so much, and I want everyone to know that she's mine . 

*Wow, that's a mouthful .*

Drake : Um, guys, I just want to say that I also want to get married to my Bella . I mean, we're basically married, but I want to make it official and propose with a ring and all . 

Dante : You both have already taken my shine, but I think it's amazing that you guys are serious . Especially from Drake . 

Drake : What do you mean, especially me ? 

Alex : Yes, that's exactly what shocked me too . 

Drake : Let's propose to them at the same time and place . 

Alex : I think I like the sound of that. Where do you think we should take them? 

Drake : We'll have to ask Jade for assistance . She'll know where their favorite places are . 

Alex : Dante will talk to her . 

Drake : You have to propose too, Dante . You're already expecting 6 kids . 

Alex :  We'll get him a ring too . He needs us to guide him . The sextuplets are going to come soon, and he'll have to make sure they arrive in a home with married parents.  

Drake : Exactly, which is why we have to get me married first . My Alvin is going to be born, too.

Alex : Why would you name your son Alvin? 

Dante : It's the..

Drake : No , don't say anything . It's a great name for my upcoming champion . He's going to take after me . 

Dante : Can you guys give me a chance to talk. 

Drake : Yeah, nope . It's too late to talk. I'm getting hungry already . 

Alex : You should eat . You are experiencing pregnancy symptoms as is.

Dante : I'm getting married .

Alex : You're right he should probably eat and…

Drake : I'll order online and.…

*We both stay quiet as we think about what he said*

Alex : You are what??

Drake : When???

Dante : Took you guys long enough. I already proposed, and she said yes . 

Drake : Wow!!!! That's amazing . So we're all going to get married to the same family ?!

Alex : Congratulations, brother . I'm proud of you.  I hope you don't mess this one up like you always do and don't cheat. 

Drake : We still have to go to their family . 

Alex : I don't have to do anything extreme . My Ella is white. 

Dante : You're still accompanying us there as a brother .

Drake : Dad said he's also coming . Apparently, they have something to tell us. 

Alex : I also got that message . 

Dante : He's coming in later today and needs us at house . I'm on my way back from our holiday away now. 

Drake : We'll meet there and  discuss this further .

Alex : Let's just propose in there . In front of dad. 

Dante : Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea. 

Drake : The rings ? 

Dante : I can get you guys those in a jiffy. 

Drake : So when are we doing this ? 

Dante : Tonight is perfect at midnight .

Alex : That's perfect after the meeting.  

Dante : Drake, you plan everything.  I'll get you both the rings . 

Drake : I'll make a few calls . Never mind letting Jade know . We'll suprise them all.

*I dropped the call and made my way to my car .*

*A few hours later,*

*The brothers are getting ready to meet their parents . Jade is meeting her sister's and getting ready for the night . They're all getting ready for the night.  Mr Rodriguez has arrived with Mrs Rodriguez to tell their boys their decision.*

Dante 

*The driver is here, and I'm leaving . Jade will be driven to Isabella's house after my departure.  She got in the shower for the jetlag and some energy.*

Dante : Baby?!

Jade : I'm almost done . Can you get me something to eat. 

Dante : I made you the fruit shake, baby . 

Jade : Thank you. I'm done and coming right now.

*She says rushing down the stairs.*

Dante : Stop running . You are pregnant . 

Jade : Sorry .  I see you are ready to go.  Aren't you worried about what the meeting is about ? 

Dante : I don't know.  I actually feel like I don't care anymore . You and the sextuplets are my priority now .

Jade : I love you so so much . 

Dante : I love you too and I'll see you later . Is the dress and everything prepared ? 

Jade : Yep, and I can't wait to see the look on their faces . 

Dante : I wasn't supposed to tell you all this . 

Jade : Sorry.  I'm just too excited . 

*She says, finishing up her food . I kiss her lips and rush to the car . Drake sends me a text telling me everything is ready for tonight and that he's driving there. I texted Alex, and he says he's almost there.* 

Driver : We're here, sir.  

*I nod, and he opens the door. I head inside, and I'm welcomed by my father . He engulfs me in a hug, and I smile, hugging him tighter.*

Mr Rodriguez : My son .

Dante : Father . 

Drake : Old man .

*He comes joining in on the hug.*

Alex : Hey, father .

*He says, smiling behind us . Father leaves both of us and engulfs him a hug but shorter than ours because he's not very affectionate.*

Mr Rodriguez : You look good, son . Is anyone making you happy while I'm gone ? 

*Alex smiles, looking down . We are all very much close with father than mother.*

Alex : I'm getting married, Father. 

Drake : Seriously? Snitch!!

Dante : I'm already married. 

Mr Rodriguez : When am I meeting the lucky women. 

Alex : I think most people say . We're the lucky ones, Father. 

Dante : And I actually do feel lucky to have her as a wife. 

Drake : Same here . She's completes me. 

Alex : She's my happy place, I guess.

Mr Rodriguez : I'm proud of you, my son's. I hope you treat them well . Let's all sit down. I called you to tell you something important. 

 

Drake : Where's your wife? 

Mr Rodriguez : She couldn't come .

*We all sit down, and Drake is already eating.*

Mr Rodriguez : I will just say it as it is . Me and your mother are getting a divorce. 

*We all stop talking for a minute and stare at him . Drake breaks the ice .*

Drake : I'm happy for you, Father .

Alex : As long as you are happy, Father.  

*They're all looking at me, waiting for my answer . I'm not sure what to say. I feel numb.*

Mr Rodriguez : Thank you, my children . Dante, I know how much you love her, and I just…

Dante : You don't have to explain yourself to me . I understand and would never want to stand in the way of your happiness. 

*He smiles proudly. We all enjoy the meal and talk for a while catching up . He promises to accompany us to our negotiations and be there for the marriage . I feel like he'll be here for a while.*

Alex : We have to go . I don't like being late. 

Drake : True.  Let me just grab the desert for the way . 

*We all shake out head smiling as we make our way to the venue.*

Dante : The rings are with me. Let's go now.
