Chapter 64 

Dante 

*I just finished getting ready . I have to see Jade . I know how my mom can get.  I hope she really didn't take her to heart . I make my way downstairs, and there she is, behaving like this is her house . I release a heavy sigh as soon as she sees me and a fake smile.*

Mrs Rodriquez : Oh my baby, you look beautiful.  

*She says, already perking my cheeks .*

Mrs Rodriguez : Come on, sit down . Everything is ready . 

Dante : Where's father ? 

*Her entire face changes .*

Mrs Rodriguez : He's busy . Never mind him . 

Dante : Does he know about this ? 

*She clears her throat, and just when she starts to reply, the doorbell disrupts her.*

Mrs Rodriguez : They're here.  I'll get that . 

*She leaves me there and attends the door. A few minutes later, she comes through, and my heart's almost drops to the floor when I see who the supposedly good wife she chose for me.*

Dante : Sam?

*How the hell is this possible. It's her, but she's dead . I killed her . How the fuck ?*

Sam : You know my sister ? I'm not Sam I'm her twin sister Angela .

*I need some air. How the fuck did this happen?*

Jade 

*I'm planning on telling my parents about the baby tomorrow . I'll visit them and probably tell them about my not so good mother in law. I'm eagerly waiting for Dante . He called me reminding me that he's coming to check up on me and his cargos . I still can't believe that I'm expecting 6 cargos it's unbelievable.  A knock comes through, and he lets himself in . He hasn't shouted yet . I wonder what's wrong . I'm in the cinema room . I hear the door sliding open and him getting inside . He looks like the world is on his shoulders.*

Jade : Hey.  Are you okay? 

*I say, engulfing him in a tight hug .*

Dante : Just let me cuddle you.  

*I nod, and he holds me tighter like I'll vanish or disappear.*

Dante : I love you so much  . Promise to never leave me . 

Jade : I promise, baby . I love you too . 

Dante : I promise to take care of all 7 of you with my life. 

Jade : I trust that you will . Wanna talk about it ? 

Dante : My mom is forcing me to marry someone.  

*I gently push him off me .*

Dante : She Sam's twin sister .

Jade : Whoa, hold up , which Sam? 

Dante :  The one I killed . 

Jade : This doesn't make sense. How did she know your mom ? 

Dante : I don't know yet. Please don't overthink this . Let go away. 

Jade : What do you mean go away? 

Dante : A week away . I'll plan everything.  Just I want to get away from everything. Pretend we're at peace with you with no disturbance and worry about anything just us. 

*He looks so worried and stressed.*

Jade : I don't mean to be offensive, but my father wants live physical cows .  

*His eyes shoot up to look at me.*

Jade : But we can go maybe we do need a time out .
