Jade .

*To say I'm excited would be an understatement . I know my past is left unattended right now, but I just am trying so hard to let bygones be bygones and move on . I slowly park inside the parking lot of the building it's so high up from here . I wonder how dad scored me this job , it's so different from my business . Maybe his cashing in a favor or something . I did say I wanted a new scene for my change, but I'm still managing my businesses on the side. I just wanted a new angle of seeing and doing stuff .*

Emma : Are we ever getting inside .

Jade : Shut up .

Emma : (rolling her eyes ) We're going to be so late . Hurry up already and stop staring.

*I give a look totally ignoring her as I make my way inside with her following behind me. The receptionist smiles brightly upon seeing me . I smile back as I make my way to her .*

Jade : Hey, Rose . (Reading from her name badge )

Rose : Hey, Mrs Zulu .

Jade : Please call me Jade , Mrs Zulu makes me feel so old. You look beautiful.

Rose : (blushing) Thanks, Mrs Zul.. I mean Jade . You're here early, sir, will be within a minute .

Jade : It's okay, Rose dear. I don't mind waiting. Can you send me up ?

Rose : Sure , no problem . Anything to drink while you wait ?

Jade : A juice is okay, thanks very much.

Rose : Coming right up , take the elevator and head for the 5th floor .

*I say, making my way to the elevator and pressing the 5th floor . I hope I don't get lost. The elevator stops, indicating my arrival . I step out and start walking, looking for any demanding office . I didn't even ask for the bosses names.*

Jade : Where the hell is it .

Voice : Excuse me .

Jade : ( I turn making sure k don't lose my posture). Hi .

Voice: Are you lost ? I'm Luca .

Emma : Wow , wow , wow , hello Luca .

Jade: (clearing my throat ) Oh hey Luca , I'm Jade, the new COO. Do you mind telling me where your bosses office is.

Luca : OH Mrs Zulu hey , it's this way follow me .

Jade : Thank you, Luca .

Luca : It's a pleasure . You look so beautiful in person.

Jade : I take it you looked me up stalker?

*He leads me into this huge office with a very rare interior and a very strong mascular scent apart from Lucas . It's so beautifully even the view is top to die for.*

Jade : Wow.

Luca : Beautiful, right ? But it still doesn't take any points compared to you.

Jade : Why thank you, Luca .

Luca : I'd like to know you better . Let's meet up during lunch break .

*He says, grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it.*

Voice : This is fun .

*Luca jumps up and leaves my hand as it drops to my thighs. We both look up, and to say I'm shocked would be an understatement. It's him . I'm so shocked I can't speak.*

Dante : You?!

Jade : You!

Luca : Excuse me , I'm sorry, boss. (He turns to me ) I'll see you .

*My mouth is wide open , from I still can't believe I'll be working for him . Seriously, I hate how I actually feel butterflies in my stomach . He looks so handsome in that suit . It's like I was specifically designed on him.*

Dante : Are you planning on staring at my face for the whole day ?

Jade : (clearing my throat) Not that I'm staring at your face , I'm just processing the shock .

Dante : Whatever makes you sleep at night. Sit .

Jade : Thanks . I'm sure you know who I am .

Dante : I didn't know you were the daughter .

Jade : Same here , I also didn't know you were the boss .

Dante : I hope we work well together , I've heard good things about you as of late . You have good reviews over the business world regardless of your social media platforms.

Jade : I promise not to let any of my social media platforms get in the way of my job.
