With love, Sibane

Qhawelezizwe's POV Kade ngashaceka uma ngivula ifoni ngahlangana nama missed calls ayi 15! Ubani onesibindi sokungifonela ngathi ngibaleke nemali ye stokvel? (I was speechless when I turned on my phone, finding 16 missed calls from an unknown number! Who the he'll has the nerve to leave soo many calls on my phone like I owe them something?)
I walked into the hotel to find people everywhere, moving things up and down. The space looked better, it felt more airy and open. After I got one of my guys to find out who was calling me, realising it was Sibane, I couldn't be more excited and I decided to check on her today, although finding her here seemed to be difficult but I found her. She was wearing a black pair of jeans, black and white Nike sneakers and a white plain t-shirt, her afro was pulled into a ponytail and she wore a dust mask. When she saw me she immediately ignored me as she was talking to a man who was carrying a clipboard.
" Ntokazi unjani nawuhla?" I asked mainly just to annoy her I found her attitude very sexy it was a turn on. (How are you doing today my lady)
" Same way I was yesterday." She said as the guy walked away, and she stared at me square in the eyes looking up at me as she removed the dust mask.
"Uyazi ngabe ushilo ukuthi uzongikhumbula ngingahambi izolo, bekungenaso isidingo sokungifonela ngathi ngiyi landline." I smiled and I could see her getting annoyed. (You know, you could have told me that you're going to miss me. I would have cancelled my trip there was no need to blow my phone up like landline."
"Ye bhuti lalela I was only calling you to tell you that the hotel pipes are rotting and we need to call someone and have them installed. " She tookoff her gloves. (Listen here)
" How bad is it?"
" it's basically dripping on the floor."
" Sisakhuluma ngama pipes noma ngawe?" I asked again just to annoy her and she exhaled loudly. (Are we still talking about the pipes or about you?)
"Nkosana!" I like the way my name sounds coming from her lips.
"Cha mama babize ngizokhokha." (Call them I'll pay.)
" Are you sure this could cost possibly thousands.
"Yebo." (Yes) "Okay." She said walking away as I followed her only to find her leaning over the table typing something on her laptop, I hated how those jeans clung to her curves exposing her hourglass body and how some of the men would stare as they walked by.
"Uyazi njengoba sesiyicedile eyamaphayiphi indaba, ngifuna sicoce eyami nawe." I said standing behind her. (Since we're done talking about the pipes, I want to talk about us)
"The only thing that connects us is work Nkosana. " she said turning around and looking up at me.
"Kwamanje." I countered. "Asambe." (For now, let's go)
"Siyaphi?" ( where to?)
"Siyodla." (Have lunch)
"Angikalambi." (I'm not hungry)
"Bengingakubuzi." ( I wasn't asking)
"Angifuni." (I don't want to)
" Kukuwe ke mama ukuthi uyayihambela noma ngikuthathe khona manje." I raised an eyebrow and she narrowed her eyes at me. (Its up to you mama whether you go on your own free will or I'll carry you there.)
" You wouldn't dare." "Ngizame. " I hoped she would say no infact I wanted her to challenge me and say no. (Try me)
"No I don't-" Her sentence was cut short as I slung her over my shoulder and carried her out of the room.
"Nkosana! Nkosana put me down! Nkosana fine I'll go!" She said squirming as I held her tighter.
I pretended not to hear her as she continued kicking, I held her firmly in place until she gave up and sighed, that's when I dropped her and we were outside now with everyone looking at us.
"Usucedile?" (Are you done?) She kept quiet for a moment. "Angeke ngiziphinde Sibane. "(I won't repeat myself Sibane) "Yebo." She said with a small voice finally submitting to me and I gently let her down she couldn't even look at me that's how angry she was. (Yes)
Sibane's POV I have never been soo embarrassed in front of my colleagues before. I wanted to punch him at how easily he picked me up. It was as if I weighed nothing.
"Ngena." He said opening the door to his g wagon and I obliged folding my arms over my chest like a toddler. He rounded the car and sat next to me as I looked outside the window, I didn't even want to look at him. (Get in) "Sibane." I didn't respond. "Sibane uzophendula noma ngikusize nalapho?" He was challenging me I could feel it. (Are you going to answer or should I help you do that too?) " Yebo."(Yes) " Ngibheke MaMnguni. " (Look at me MaMnguni) I don't know why but the last part got me I almost smiled ,but I maintained my composure and glared at him as hard as I could. I expected him to say something or rather apologize for picking me up in front of so many people instead he grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Uzoba ukufa kwami wena." (You are going to be the death of me).He sighed my hand on his chest now, I took the time to analyse him. This man was tall and very muscular, his tattoos made him look scary not to mention his beard. The short sleeved black t-shirt he wore today clung to his chest exposing his muscles. He wasn't soo muscular that he's a freak of nature but it was just the right amount, slim buff if I were to word it. "MaMnguni asambe siyodla mama uyeke ukungidinelwa." (Let's go and eat so you can stop being angry at me)If it was on any other day I would have blew a fuse just from being told what to do ,but it was the way he was holding my hand above his chest, how I could feel his heart beating and how low and deep his voice was it just instantly made me want to submit just for today.
"Okay Nkosana." My voice sounded small and soft, what was happening to me? He kissed my hand again. We got out of the car into this high end restaurant and I suddenly remembered that I left my phone and bag in the hotel.
"Nkosana wait I forgot my purse." I said as he held my hand walking next to me.
"Obviously kukhokha mina." He said in the most calm tone.(Obviously I'm paying) "But I want to pay for myself." "Cha ke ntombi awuyikhokheli wena ngicedile ukukhuluma." I hated this.(No, you're definitely not paying and I'm done talking.) "Nkosana-" "Sibane ngithe ngicedile ." I huffed in frustration I wanted to stand there and refuse to go but then I didn't want to be carried into a restaurant. (Sibane I said I'm done talking)
We sat down and he planted his eyes on me.
"You're staring." I felt uncomfortable. "I'm admiring you." "Please admire something else." I said meeting his eyes head on. "Ikhanda elishisa kangaka kwenzenjani?" He asked his deep voice sounding softer. (Why are you soo stubborn)
I shrugged. "I just really hate being told what to do." He nodded as the waiter came and took our orders and I wasn't feeling hungry so I just got water but Nkosana refused and I ended up getting a Caesar's salad .
"Uvelaphi?" (Where are you from?) "Eswatini, Edwaleni. " I responded our eyes connected. "Abazali?" (Your parents?) "I hate small talk." I said trying to swerve from the topic. "Okay what do you want to talk about?" "You, why are you so interested in me?" "Because I want you to be mine." "I'm not an object." " I never said you were." He leaned back on the chair and it was hard to ignore how his stare made it feel like we were the only people here, it muted all the sounds in the background and had me focusing on him, I couldn't look away that's how commanding his aura was. " What do you want?" "You." "You need to be more specific. " " Words aren't really my strongest point." "I'm not on the market." " Anginandaba mine ngithe ngifuna wena." I sighed. ( I don't care, I want you) "Abazali?" He questioned again. (Parents?) " I only have my mom, i don't want to talk about my dad." He nodded . " what about you, you're good looking how come you don't have a girl yet?" "Angithathi nome ngayini Sibane. " I actually laughed at that. (I don't date just about anyone Sibane ) "Or maybe you're too controlling and possessive. " I countered. He shrugged. "Ngithanda okungekwami kuhlale kimi." (I don't share, what's mine is mine)
We stayed like that for a few more hours just talking and asking each other questions, although I probably shouldn't admit this but I really love that Nkosana can handle my personality and attitude, especially because most people feel like I'm too much. It's refreshing being challenged .
