CHAPTER 5
*INSERT 5*NYAKALLO.
I wake up in the morning, take a shower then I wear my long blue dress with black pumps and a black long cardigan. This is the kind of wife I am, I'm not allowed to wear jeans, shorts dresses or short skirts.
My in laws said I should always hide my skin and not show off because I'm a married woman and I don't even own a mere skirt, bum short or anything that's how my life is.
And I have no problem with that or whatsoever, I'm used to it, I don't even go out to drink. I only drink inside the house and even so I don't drink to get drunk I just drink to think clearly especially since my job is so tiring.
I'm still mad at Bokang, I don't understand how he could say that to me, he has both parents who are healthy and I don't have even on parent, I don't know where I come from, the social workers that took me from my mom are all dead except for the cleaner who worked at the orphanage that time and she's the one who gave me the file, it's a lead but when we went to the shack me and my mom used to stay at it was taken down by the community since it was abondoned and the nyaope's were staying there, kids were raped inside that shack so they decided to take it down, then they burned everything.
When we asked around they said she left with nigerian's, some said she's dead and was buried by the state but some said they saw her working at some club as a stripper.
We fist started searching if it was true that she was dead and the state buried her, we did not find anything, There's no way she left with nigerians cause I contact some people I know from all the nigerian countries and still we found nothing.
Then we ended up going to the strip club they said they saw her working at and we found something, they said she worked there for about 3 months then she disappeared, the boss said he thinks she left with one of her clients since the strip club was not only a strip club but a *** worker's club.
Well the owner of the club said when my mom disappeared the client also did the same and he was a regular at that club, so there was no way he would stop going to the club since it was his favorite and this makes perfect sense because they also said the guy loved my mom dearly, he would kill for her.
So now I'm looking for two people, my mom and that guy his name is Paul Juba. He can give me something I could work on.
Right then my phone rings and I answer it without checking who is calling.
Me: Hello.
...Hey, how are you?
Me: Ohh hey Lesedi I'm okay and you? is something wrong?
Lesedi: I'm okay don't worry, I need a favor from you friend and I'm sorry if this will come across somehow to you.
Me: I hope you don't ask me to go collect some money at one one of your blessers for you like last time?
We laugh.
Lesedi: We're past that age now, well I was calling to ask if you could lend me a place to stay for a few months till my job ends here. The modelling agency sent us this side and they won't pay till we're done with everything so I think it would take months. I'm currently low on cash right now and the money I have in my bank account I'm going to send it to my grandmother and the rest I would use it to buy groceries and toiletries at your house if you allow me of course.
I smile, I miss her ain't no way I won't help her.
I know if tables were turned she would also do the same for me too, I'll have to speak with Bokang, this is his house and I can't just bring my friend here without consulting him first never mind that we're not on good speaking terms.
Me: Well of course you can stay at my place until you're ready but I'll have to speak with my husband first then I'll send you the location to my place okay?
Lesedi: Great I appreciate you friend.
Me: Alright friend I have to go to work, I'll call you during the day.
Lesedi: Okay have a nice day.
She hangs up, quickly prepares breakfast for the both of them, as soon as she sits down Bokang walks in the kitchen.
