PROLOGUE

*PROLOGUE*

" In marriage you endure whatever obstacle you come across, you face whatever challenge you'll be facing like a real woman and you don't leave your marriage whenever the going gets tough, you hold your husband through anything, when he cheats you don't question it, you don't cheat back just because he cheated, when he comes home late or in the morning you don't ask any questions. Treat your husband like a king he is, you don't run back home if he starts beating you or something, you go behind the door and cry all the hurt there then you solve it as a married couple"

Those were the words from the elders when I got married to my dear loving husband Bokang.

I believe those words have hurt a lot of woman, not running back home to your parents just because you're married, you have to be the obedient wife to a cheating husband, how is that a healthy marriage? some die because of those words, it's either a husband kills his wife, sometimes it's where suicide enters, women kill themselves thinking it's the only way to get out of the marriage.

Because of words like " In marriage you endure whatever obstacle you come across".

I'm Nyakallo Majoro married to Bokang Majoro.
