*INSERT 15*BASETSANA.
I release a breath that I didn't even know I was holding, I did it, I got the job, I'm starting tomorrow. I'm so happy I can't wait to get home and tell my mom the good news. The way the boss was impressed she hired me the very same time I was done with my Interview.
I head to the rank to catch a taxi, I dial Sbani's phone and It rings until it stops. I call him again and this time it takes me straight to voicemail, Wow he just switched his phone off. I don't know what did I ever do to Sbani to treat me like this, was feeling like celebrating with him today.
I get home and sit next to my mom with the biggest smile ever, She looks at me.
Mom: Ke eng Basetsana? (What is it?)
Me: Ke thotse mosebetsi kajeno mme. ( I found a job today mom).
Mom: What kind of job, Weren't you working at a tarven?
Me; It's not a tarven mom, I will be working as a manager at Guru hotel.
Mom: Mhm so between you and Leraro who will be getting more money at month end?
What is my mom asking me? Let me test the waters.
Me: Lerato is the one who will be paid more than me.
Mom: Mhm, It's no use to be happy about that job if you're not getting paid more than your sister, Again your sister will always be on top of you. It's not suppossed to be the other way around.
Me: Wow seriously mom? What good do I ever do in your eyes, It's always Lerato this and that, I'm tired of being compared to her. Waitsi keng mama I'm moving out tomorrow. (You know what)
Mom: Why don't you leave right now? I'll even help you pack. Just because you got a job nyana today you think you can walk all over us mxm.
Me: What you're saying doesn't even make sense, You're just bitter that my life is not going as bad as you want it to be.
That makes me earn a clap.
I leave her there going to the kitchen and I hear her coming to the kitchen yelling.
Mom; Don't touch my food akere wena you have a mouth now, you're a woman in this house so go buy your own food and I want you out of my house tomorrow morning before the sun rises. I won't leave with a child who knows how to talk back to elders when she is being reprimanded.
When did she reprimand me again?
I leave here there going to my room and I look inside my savings box, I only have R750 inside and I'm sure I have about 7 thousand in my bank account. I'll buy a kota now and I'll go to the mall later to buy pizza and a drink.
LERATO.
It's in the morning, me and hubby we're preparing ourselves for work and I'm starting at my mother's place. She called me early in the morning to tell me how Basetsana is behaving and I'm going there after breakfast.
Zakhele: Why are you going to your mothers house again?
Me: Apparently Basetsana is disrespecting her because she got a job as a manager at a hotel so she thinks she's the shit and she said she's moving out.
Truly speaking I don't care wether those too are fighting or not, I'm just angry that Basetsana finally found a job for what he studied and I'm jealous because I know she's going to get paid more than me. I always want her to be beaneth me.
Zakhele: Your sister is crazy my love.
Me: Right she is, maybe she slept her way to the top we wouldn't know.
Zakhele: Nxaa if that is the case then she's a whore. That's why me and my friends made a bet before we dated that I tap her and dump here but she was too naive for my liking, she wanted me to beg.
Me: What she was a bet?

My wife is happy to be home and I couldn't be more than happy with this woman by my side, I love her.
Zizipho: Babe I'm going to have lunch with my friends yezwa?
I stand from the sofa and go to her.
Me: Okay babe come back soon.
Zizipho: Miss me already?
Me: I haven't seen you in months so please.
I peck her lips and she turns it to a deep kiss then she pulls back fixing her lipstick.
Zizipho: I'll be back.
Me: Here go spoil yourself and call when you want me to fetch you.
I give her my black card and she accepts it with a kiss.
Zizipho: Ngiyabonga Sthandwa sam. (Thank you my love).
BASETSANA.
I woke up early in the morning to pack all my clothes, I'm not crazy that I know, I've endured all the shit they been putting me in this house since I was young. Yesterday before I slept I searched for all the available rental places near the Guru hotel to avoid transportation money and I found an affordable one so that I can be able to buy some groceries also. I know month end I'll be sorted.
I'm pushing my bags to the door when I hear voices and It's the favorite daughter of the house.
I don't even greet, Right when I open the door Lerato talks.
Lerato: You think you're all that neh? Don't come here ever again if you lose that job.
Me: Only witches talk like you are right now, does your husband know you're here early in the morning?
Lerato: The same husband you were throwing yourself at? Yah he knows and also did he tell you that he never loved you?
Me: I already know that whats new?
Lerato: Did he tell you that you were a bet he made with his friends to sleep with you and dump you just like that.
What I was a bet all along? That explains why he was forcing to sleep with me, he really never loved me. My tears roll down my face.
Lerato: Leave before you drown us with your tears.
They laugh, I so hate Zakhele right now. I leave them there laughing their lungs out.
