CHAPTER 39
*INSERT 39*BASETSANA.
I wake up in my own moods, yesterday we didn't do anything, king denied me *** and when I forced him to he threatened me that if I keep forcing him, he'll just go sleep in the guest room and I didn't want that so I left him alone.
And now he's not in bed, I do the bed, take a shower and I wear the clothes I was wearing yesterday before applying the last ointment that was left on my body. It doesn't hurt anymore and I'm just left with taking out the stitches on my chin.
Then I head downstairs talking with Bontle on the phone and I just told him what happened yesterday, the way he's laughing.
Me: You're not a friend right now.
He laughs even more. Mxm I drop the call and sit on the high chair reading the note that was left on the counter.
And It's actually for me, It says "Morning baby mama I went to work, I'll be back in 3 hours and please feed my baby, I left you breakfast in the warmer" I click my tongue. Funny me I head to the warmer to take the food, I make myself a cup of tea since I'm not supposed to drink coffee and then I eat.
Midday he finds me on my phone working, my laptop is at my place so why not work with my phone in the meantime? he gives me a peck and I pull him for a deep kiss.
I don't know what we're doing but it feels nice, It's not forced and our feelings are not that much clear right now.
We break it.
Kagiso: Bassie.
Me: King.
He pecks me once, I think he likes it when I call him with his surname.
Kagiso: How are you baby mama?
Me; I'm okay and you?
Kagiso: I'm good now that I'm here with you, how's my baby?
Me: He's okay, you said 3 hours moc? not that I'm counting or asking your whereabouts.
He smiles.
Kagiso: I was at work and I took time because a client was not happy with my service.
And the person that says he's coming from work is only wearing a navy blue jean, white nike t'shirt and white sneakers. What kind of job is that? And a cap yhoo.
Me: At least clients get serviced when they are not happy.
I stand up.
Kagiso: What was that?
Me: Nothing.
Kagiso: I heard that.
Me: Okay King.
He laughs and he tells me he's taking me to my place, to fetch clothes and what I will need for a whole two weeks.
LERATO.
Yhoo worst day ever, I come back from work to find this? my mother in law is here and I know it won't be a great week for me.
There's no lie my mother in law hates me and I actually don't care it's not like I'm married to her, I'm married to her son.
I do my wifely duties, take a shower, heading to the kitchen I hear her say "This Sotho girl doesn't respect"
Me: Same as you, you don't respect me and how will I do that if you're failing to do it too? Zakhele can I please talk to you?
He stands up and I lead him to our bedroom, we sit down on the bed.
Me: What is going on?
Zakhele: Ngani mkami (With what my wife)?
Me: Your mom being here and you distancing yourself, I don't know if It's me or what.
Zakhele: No my love it's not you and don't worry about my mother just ignore her she's leaving on friday. I just didn't want to stress you about all this, you know our situation.
He holds both my hands in his and we lock eyes.
Me: Babe you don't have to distance yourself from me or the baby, you don't give me any stress and I love having you around me, so please stop with all of this.
Zakhele: I'm sorry that it appeared like that and I only thought I was doing things right.
Me: Please don't ever do that again, we're a married couple and we should talk about all this things.
Zakhele: Forgive me Mkami.
Me: I forgive you.
I give him a smile, this here is my safe space and the way I love this man.
Zakhele: You do?
Mind you he's asking that getting on top of me and I laugh.
