"What's taking them long to update us , l will just go to the ward myself " l say standing up

Zano:"wait , they will come" l saw the doctor approach

"Doctor how are they , l mean my grandparents "

Doctor:"you are the granddaughter " he asks isn't it obvious already but anyways

"yeah l am how are they , they're okay right "

Doctor:"uhm lm sorry to say this but your grandparents have left us " what

"When did they leave the hospital because l didn't see them pass here " l ask laughing and he just stared at me like crazy , like seriously did any of you see my grandparents pass here

Zano:"l think what he means is they've passed , abasekho emhlaben bas'shiyile" she says with a tear escaping her eyes

"Doctor it's not what you meant right , my grandparents are still alive they can't leave me alone " l say still hoping to hear the doctor say something that will cheer me up

"your friend is right , they've gone to the world of the dead " he sighs l just wail loudly no this can't be happening , they cant be gone no l can't ...l can't

"take her to the ward she will be out her a few hours , this is alot for her " the doctor says as he was now holding the sleeping Nomathemba in his arms , the nurse carry her to the ward leaving the doctor with Zanothando at the reception

Zano:"she will be okay right doctor"

"Yeah she will , Please call in the family members they need to be informed right away" he says to the receptionist "and you , call your parents to pic you up . You need to rest "

Zano:"But.."

"No arguing , it's either you do it or l do it"

Zano:"eish okay then"

The doctor then walks away leaving Zanothando on the phone

-on phone call-

"What they're dead how , when" l say pretending not to know anything

"mam l suggest you and your family come to the hospital so you can be informed , and there's the grandchild here she has been sedated so she will need her family"

"okay then thank you for informing us"

"no problem" drops call

Uncle:"they're really dead " he say with a grin on his face

"Yeah they're we have to go to the hospital as a family "

"We will just go tomorrow with the rest of the family and we might as well get that girl at the hospital to come stay here again"

l just nodd , after all it's what we want
