CHAPTER 45
ZINHLE DUMAOh God, why on earth would I agree to that? I just laid on Tshepiso's bed facing the ceiling. Tshepiso woke up and left for work without even saying goodbye like he used to. He probably felt guilty the way I'm feeling. What got into us anyway? Wellllll, I enjoyed every moment of it even though I feel guilty for sleeping with my ex's brother.
Okay, that's it! I'm leaving before I end up being tempted and sleep with him again. I got off the bed, opened up the curtains, and neatly made the bed while I ran the shower for myself.
After making the bed, I went for a long warm shower. I dried my body and lotioned myself before wearing my cargo pants and white Airforce sneakers with oversized tee. I tied my braids into a bun and packed my things well. I don't know where I'm going, but I better be far away from these Booysen boys.
I looked at myself through the mirror and touched the necklace that Thato once bought for me. I never took it off. I love it. It looks good on me. Some people have complimented me about it. Okay, I miss him, no cap! On the other hand, I think I'm developing feelings for Tshepiso. This is some fΓΌcked up shit. No, I have to leave this place.
I took a note after putting my suitcases down. I don't even know what to write.

I wiped my tears that managed to escape my eyes, and i smiled alone, thinking of our memories. He's a good guy, but definitely not for me. I placed it on bed after folding it once.
Me: Okay, where to from here?
I sighed and walked out, calling an Uber.
TSHEPISO BOOYSEN
I buried myself deep into work, but I couldn't get what happened between Zee and I out of my mind. FΓΌck she's so good, but I really can't help the guilty I'm feeling. I betrayed Thato, I knew how he felt about his Hlehle, though I still allowed my sexual feeling to take control over me. I'm such a horrible brother, well I don't even deserve to be called a brother.
A knock came through as I tried to focus on work. I allowed the person in, and Portia walked in. What does she want now?
Me: Portia.
Portia: Tshepiso.
Silence.
Me: What brings you here?
Portia: Uhm, I made your favorite meal, so I wondered why not bringing you some.
Me: Are you serious right now?
She put that lunch on the table and had a seat.
Me: I'm busy in case you just turned blind. If you can't see that I'm busy, then it's better if I tell you so.
Portia: I'm also deaf.
Me: Don't annoy me, please. What do you want?
Portia: I want you, Tshepiso.
Me: Mxm, can yo...
My office door flew opened, and a younger version of my father stood there fuming with anger. My heart immediately skipped a beat. I quickly stood up from my chair. ShΓ―t I couldn't even recognize him, he had kept his beard and his waves are fading... his face is red like a tomato.
Me: *nervously* Bafo.
Thato: How could you, Tshepiso?
He's too mad for my liking.
Me: Portia, leave and take that food along with you.
Portia: Tshe...
Me: Portia!
She startled, taking whatever she came with and rushed out. I looked back at Thato and found him staring at me, breathing heavily in anger.
Thato: I'm gonna ask you just one question: What happened between you two?
Me: No-nothing.
Thato: Don't you dare lie Tshepiso.
He showed me a paper, and I frowned.
Thato: This was meant for you, but unfortunately, I got it first.
Me: What?
Thato: *bitterly laughs* She actually loves you! How could you make her fall for you? Wasn't she mine at first? Or just because you happened to meet her first, you thought she belonged to you?
Me: I'm confused now.
He came to my side of the table and shoved the paper in my hand. I read it by the end of it. I shed a tear. She left me. I raised my head and found him staring at me. He laughed softly, shaking his head.
Thato: You're even crying for my woman Tshepiso? What kind of brother are you, mara hee?
Me: Thato...
Thato: What is it that happened between you two?
Me: Whatever happened wasn't meant to happen, I...
He threw a good punch on my face. I think I deserved that. I held my nose as I felt a liquid running out of my nostril.
Me: Baf...
Thato: Shut the fΓ»ck up! You fΓΌcked her, didn't you?
Yerr, I forgot how much he could read my emotions and my mind. He can tell when I'm lying.
Me: What!? No.
Thato: You betray me, and after that, you lie straight to my face?
Me: Listen T, it wasn't my inte....
He threw another punch. As I tried to balance myself, I felt another one. I just couldn't fight back. I deserve all of this.
Thato: How could you!?
He was now on top of me beating me like im his enemy, taking out all his anger until someone pulled him up.
Thato: Wh-why does her Tsheps?
That came out in whisper. I looked at him as I tried standing up with blood all over my face.
Me: I'm... I'm sorry.
He looked at me with his red eyes. It looks like he has been crying. They immediately got filled with tears.
Thato: Why Zinhle out of all my exes?
Me: Thato....
He stepped back as I tried to step closer to him. He pressed his eyes hard with his hand and sniffed. I nodded to the security that just stopped him from beating me up so he could give us some privacy.
Me: I'm... I
I suddenly ran out of words. He looked at me with half opened eyes before heading out.
