- just a girl who jots down her imagination.

Although I knew he detested it when I went out with my friends, this was not how I expected him to respond. I went out for the first time in a long time, and look at him—he's back on the scene! striking me like though I'm a punching bag.

Me: I swear, I won't do it again, so please, no.

He simply stopped hearing me, like if I wasn't even speaking to him! He continued to give me strong stomach kicks.

Sandile: Hey, remember what I said about going out with that girl?

He struggled me as he scooped me up and pinned me against the wall.

Sandile: You repeat that or ignore any of my commands? I'll go above and beyond, Zinhle!

He let go of me, causing me to fall to the ground. I gave a strong cough that left blood leaking from my mouth. In an attempt to catch my breath, I laid down briefly on the tiles. Hearing that he was gone, I got up slowly to go to the restroom. I cleansed my face and rinsed my mouth. I turned to face myself in the mirror.

Me: I'm very much sure that I also lost you.

I brushed my stomach and muttered, There's no way this baby could survive after being kicked up like that. This will be the third pregnancy I lose since I started dating Sandile. I felt a liquid trickle down my thighs a few seconds later—great! just great Sandile!

Anyway I'm Zinhle Duma, a 24-year-old recent graduate who only recently lost her family in a horrific accident, but that's a tale for another day. I don't really have any family except Sandile.

After taking a bath I grabbed my bag containing my medical records and left. I'm aware that he will still be upset, but I need to get cleaned up. One thing I enjoy about private hospitals is that there was no line when I arrived at the hospital.

Nurse: Oh my God! You're bleeding! Doctor! medical emergency!

As soon as I got to the emergency room, the lights went out. Opening my eyes I looked around and saw that I was still in the hospital, I was in a different room from the one I had been in before. Looking to my left, I noticed the doctor writing something.

Me: Doc... Doctor..

Him: Ohh finally, I was starting to get worried.... You passed out for hours now.

Me: Ohh...

I held my tummy, tears made their way out. I don't even know why I'mcrying for this baby Sandile doesn't even care about me nor about my health.

Doc: I'm sorry for your loss.

He said taking me out of my thoughts that's when I realized he was talking to Sandile, who I think just barged in here.

Sandile: Ohh... I... did we lose our baby again babe?

He said holding my hand, mxm as if he cares.

Me: ye... yes..

Sandile:I'm sorry that I wasn't there baby, you know work can be hectic at the office.

Mxm as if he even works... Or he mean all the dirty business he run with his gang?

Doc: It seemed as if you lost your baby due to—

Sandile: Stress!? Eish yazi she stresses herself too much Doc. I tried having a talk with her about this but she never takes my word.

Doc: I was actually gonna say–

Sandile: Doc if you don't mind, can I please have privacy with my woman?

Why does he keep interrupting the Doctor? Is he afraid that he might get caught? Mxm what am I even saying, I have tried so hard to get him arrested but he kept pulling few strings and eventually got out of jail in few hours after being locked up.

Doc: Yes of course.... Just so you know, she'll be discharged after three days.

Sandile: *mumbles* Three what?... Ohh okay stressless Doc.

The poor doctor made his way out, I looked at this man I once fell for.

Sandile: Zinhle! Are you out of your mind?

Me: What did I do now?

Sandile: We both know you'll only come to hospital when I'm the one who brings you here!

Me: Sandile I was bleeding, I had to—

Sandile: Shut up before you say things you're not supposed to, I'm glad you don't have bruises anymore.

Mxm he's really unbelievable. I rolled my eyes looking away from him.

Sndile: And about this three days thing, you gotta do something Zee.

Me: And what am I supposed to do?

Sandile: You gotta be discharged today, in fact now.

Me: What?

Sandile: Who's gonna cook or do all house chores for the damn three days?

Me: Hayibo!? It's high time that you learn to do all those Sandile, I won't always be there.

Sandile: what do you mean? you're not leaving me Zinhle!

Me: What if I am?

Sandile: *laughs* And where will you possibly go? You're forever stuck with me Zee, I'm your only hope.

Me: Wow... Sandile I have to get better, I have to be monitored... I can't just get discharged.

He stared at me deadly, he knows how much that look of his scares me.

Me: Okay at least lemme get discharged tomorrow, not today.

Sandile: Good.

He stood up and walked out.... I hate the day I fell for this guy, no wait the guy I fell for wasn't like this. What happened?

Doc: Does he abuse you?

Me: Oh hi Doc, didn't see you there.

Doc: He abuse you, doesn't he?

Me: *chuckles nervously* Who are you talking about?

Doc: Of course he does... and I gotta do something about that.

Me: What? No he doesn't. He loves me.

Doc: Oh now you know who am I talking about?

me:....

Doc: I can help you get out of that abusive relationship Zinhle, only if you're on my side.

Me: You don't understand doctor I—

Doc: Tshepiso... call me Tshepiso.

Me: Ohh... yes Doc... I mean Tshepiso, you don't understand. I won't be able to leave him.

Doc: And why is that?

Me: Long story short? He's the only one I got and I love him.

Doc: You think he loves you too?

Me: Yes he does... Just that he's going through the most right now.

Doc: Listen I—

Me: Doc I think I need some rest.

I said looking away, He wouldn't get this.. would he? Like Sandile said, I'm stuck with him and forever.
