CHAPTER 28 

 

MAKHOSANDILE LWANDLE ZUNGU 

 

Next morning I wake up feeling so relaxed and I was looking forward to spend the day with her. I don’t know but my heart was singing la,la,la,la,la . I took a quick shower and dressed the clothes I wore yesterday I ordered breakfast so it was going to be in 10 minutes ,I walked out the room and when to her room I knocked but no response , I opened the door and there was no one , I look around and she walked out he bathroom dripping wet and she is naked I mean your birth day naked her big tummy is out and all round , okay why am I still looking I quickly turned and she laughed. 

 

Me: why are you laughing, im really sorry. 

Lady: im laughing cause you look as if you have never seen a woman naked anyway its not like I look attractive or anything im just a hippo. 

Me: and a beautiful hippo at that. 

Lady: lwandle did you just call me hippo? ( I locked what, immediately my mind went back to how I got the name ) 

Me: what did you just call me.( I slowly turned,she was on a white gown but it was medium it didnt fully fit her belly showed.) 

Lady: I called you Lwandle im naming you, I don’t know your name so im giving you one and you better like that name. 

Me: mmh you have no idea.what is your name? 

Lady: im Zama Ngwenya 

Me: ntombemhlophe. 

 

 ( we shared at stare her eyes were full of sadness and pain and for me to know that pain and I could do nothing to help her beats me and having to know that I've spent half of my life looking for her in every woman, do you know how crazy that sounds looking for someone who will call me lwandle without me having to introduce my self) 

 

Zama: I would have the staring contest but we are hungry  

Me:eish sorry the food will arrive soon. 

Zama: I saw some female clothes in there can I wear them im really feeling cold. 

Me: yes , im sure Hlalu will not mind. 

Zama: is that your wife? 

Me: wife? 

Zama: I saw the ring on your finger and I assumed that you are married. 

Me:ow that, am yes I am married but to Hlwayela and those clothes belong to Hlalu my sister inlaw, please wear them, you will find me at the seating room bring that fleece to cover your bell. 

 

I walked out and my phone rang it was my wife and I really don’t want to talk to her yazi but then I cant hid out or avoid her that log we have to speak and she must make me understand what were her reasons to do such . 

 

Me: mkami 

Hlwai: myeni wam, how are you? 

Me: im good and you? 

Hlwai: im trying I miss you baba where are you please come back so we can talk. 

Me: I will come back when im ready to speak to you but now I have things to sort out , I love you my heart. 

Hlwai: I love you so much babe. The Biyela’s are going back home today are we going with them? 

Me: no we are not , will go back with Sengwayo I think on 1st week of January. 

Hlwai: okay babe please come home babe . 

Me: I will , take care  

 

( just then the bell rang and I dropped the called and attended the door took the food and place it nice on the table just then she comes down stairs wearing a full length cotton back dress .she looks beautiful pregnancy looks good on her) 

 

Zama: ow it smells good I didn’t know I was this hungry. 

 

We sat down and enjoying the delicious breakfast and we talked more about family she asked me about my family and all that and she shared her whole story about her father and the boyfriend . 

Me: so what will you do when you give birth? 

Zama: lwandle I don’t know but what I know is that I need to be far as I can from that man I know he will hurt my baby . 

Me: okay , how about you go with my family to South Africa. 

Zama: why are you helping me? Its not like im able to pay you back. 

Me:I don’t need you to pay me back I want to help you Zaza. 

Zama: okay then I will go with you. 

Me: how far are you? 

Zama: I don’t know I never went for scan. 

Me: okay don’t worry will sort that one out. Look I will go for few hours I need to speak to my wife I left without telling her where im going and I have some things to check out. 

Zama: okay I will stay here. 

 

I looked at her as she got comfortable and watching cartoons, I walked out the house to the car , I don’t know whats going o right now I don’t have everything figure out yet but what I know I found the one I was looking for 

 

HLWAYELA ZUNGU 

 

Me: Pk can I have a word.( he was busy packing i think they are leaving together with the Biyela’s) 

Phaka: my sister, lets take a walk your house is beautiful yazi. 

Me: ow thank you, but I cant take a walk its cold outside lets go to the Cinema.( we sat down and I held his hands) 

Me: what went wrong mntaka tata? 

Phaka: im so sorry for not telling you I was scared. 

Me: but I want to know,cause you were happy with your wife and now this?  

Phaka: I was never happy Zine, I married her because I wanted to make dad proud I married her because I wanted to wipe and forget what I really am and you know what they say about stage. but deep down I knew that I liked men and I was never attracted to females. So when I meet u Sbu I grew inlove with him he completes me and that’s were I saw it fit to divorce and continue my life with him and he loves me sis.( he is smiling ) 

Me: im happy that youre happy please on January when I come back I want to meet all of my brothers , I love you  

Phaka: I love you too, we will be leaving with the Biyela’s. ( he looks around)the is something fishy with Minentle I think she is snooping around. 

Me: what did you see? 

Phaka: its not what I saw but I heared. She said these people don’t talk about anything and im tired of doing this I will get busted and you wont help me out. She was like I know whats at stake and Im willing to see them down and out I will make it happpend but don’t call me I will call you, she the dropped the call. 

Me: what? Okay thank you mntase please do me a favour and befriend her. 

Phaka: im doing just that mntase I want to know what shes up to. And thank you for talking to me and now I will be able to call you without feeling guilty .
