MY LITTLE LOVE STORY .

She puts on her red lipstick and places it down before glancing at the man in the witness box . She catwalks over to the witness box and folds her arms .
Naledi : Mr Khumalo right ?
Mr Khumalo : yes ..
Naledi : would you care to inform this court who are you and how you're related to the alleged rapist ?
Mr Khumalo : (clears throat) I'm Bongani Khumalo , a 29 year old businessman and I am Xolani Khumalo's elder brother .
Naledi : nice ... now , your brother is facing charges of rape . Not only one rape but 5 rape crimes ... how shocking is that ?
Mr Khumalo : it is because I don't know my brother being a rapist .
Naledi : now .. would you care to inform me where you were on the 3rd of July , Monday night ?
Bongani glances at Xolani who nods at him .
Naledi : you're supposed to be looking at me , not at your brother .
Mr Khumalo : I was at the club with my brother .
Naledi : hmm , carry on .
Mr Khumalo : we had a couple of drinks , then went home after that .
Naledi : oh , you got drunk and went home ?
Mr Khumalo : yes .
Naledi : your honor , I'd like to present some evidence to this court .
Judge : present your evidence Ms Thahane .
She smirks glancing at Xolani .. your time is up son . The door opens and the security guard of the club Xolani and Bongani were at walks in holding a little USB stick . He hands the stick over to Naledi ..
Naledi : thank you , will someone connect it on the TV for me ?
The police officer takes the stick and connects it to the TV in the court room .
Naledi : everyone watch closely ..
The video starts playing as everyone gasps ... Xolani glances at Bongani and shakes his head , he knows his time is up . The video finishes playing and Naledi nods .
Naledi : it's clearly shown in this video that once the two brothers got drunk, they didn't leave . They stayed , danced and had fun . While Mr Bongani Khumalo went to whoever he went in the clip , Xolani Khumalo approached the victim and touched her all over .
Mr Masondo (Xolani's lawyer) : objection your honor that is not true ! He didn't touch her all over !
Naledi : am I blind ? Or are you blind ? Everyone can clearly see how he's touching her all over and she's moving uncomfortably .

Judge : continue ...
Naledi : your honor , and then .. you can clearly see that Xolani pulls the victim upstairs where there are pile of rooms of which I got evidence for as well .
Mr Masondo sighs , Naledi is dangerous baba . She came prepared .. they connect another stick to the TV and the video starts playing . The video of Xolani raping the girl . Everyone frowns ... so he really did this ?
Naledi : Mr Xolani Khumalo , did you or did you not rape Melokuhle Ngwenga ?
Xolani : I didn't .
Naledi : is it not you in this video ?
Xolani : you can be photoshopped !
Naledi : so it's not you ?
Xolani : its not !
Naledi : your honor , Xolani Khumalo's DNA was found in Melokuhle's body .
She proudly smiles at Melokuhle who's crying and shaking ..
Naledi : your honor , Melokuhle is just 16 . This 20 year old man raped her , yes I agree , she shouldn't have been out at a club at that time but she wasn't also asking to be raped . Now .. you can obviously see that she's traumatized , she's unhappy . This man has caused her a trauma she'll forever live with . There's evidence , every single type of evidence you see that clearly shows that Xolani Khumalo raped her . This man is a rapist and he deserves to stay in jail . I rest my case ..
She bows and walks back to her desk .
Judge : Mr Masondo .. would you like to present any evidence ?
Mr Masondo sighs defeated and shakes his head .
Mr Masondo : I have no evidence to present your honor .
Judge : with the number of evidence that has come through against Xolani Khumalo , I hereby sentence him to 20 years in jail for 5 rape cases including this one . The court has been adjourned ..
" all rise "
Xolani furiously glances at Naledi who's smiling at him . She walks to Melokuhle and her mother .
Melokuhle : thank you so much .
Naledi : you're welcome .
Melokuhle's mom : you did such a great job . I don't regret coming to you , my daughter received the justice she deserves .
Naledi : I'd do anything to get rid of rapists in our country . Now will you promise me that you'll never attend night clubs ?
Melokuhle : I promise you , thank you for helping me .
Naledi : you're welcome .. travel well , I have a daughter to pick up from day care .
She takes her bag and walks out .. with everyone staring at her . Her work game is unmatched , she's everything . She walks outside and jumps in her car , she drives off .
Another day successfully went on , another rape case has been solved and she's feeling incredibly happy and proud because that payslip keeps going up and up .
She reaches the daycare and walks inside ...

Naledi : hello .
Ms Grace : hey Naledi .. how are you ?
Naledi : I'm good .
Ms Grace : I see , you look good .
Naledi : work has me like this .. Where's my little honey ?
Mr Grace : she's sleeping , she has been playing all day today . She was very hyper .
Naledi : I think it's the candy she ate last night .
Ms Grace : you can go in and get her .
She walks inside and glances at her adorable baby sleeping on the mini bed , she picks her up slowly ..
Keitumetse : m..mama .
Naledi : yes its me baby , it's me .
She brushes her back as she drifts off to sleep again . She grabs her bag and walks out .
Naledi : thank you , I'll see you tomorrow .
Ms Grace : bye girl .
She walks to the car and opens the back door , she puts her in the baby car seat and buckles her . She kisses her cheek ...
Naledi : my cute nana ..
She smiles and covers her with the fleece , she closes her door and jumps in the front door . She starts the car and drives off ... her phone rings and she answers it through the car speaker .
Naledi : yes ?
Kamogelo : hey you .
Naledi : oh brother .. I won the case
Kamogelo : you did ?
Naledi : it was amazing . Having evidence is just the best thing honestly .. I flushed them out .
Kamogelo : well I'm proud of you sis .. don't tell me you forgot to pick up Keitumetse .
She chuckles .
Naledi : being a mother is my first priority . I'd forget everything else but I'd never forget my own daughter . She's my little diamond ...
