I could feel my heart beating in my throat after Nyokayamanzi said that the love of my life, the woman I see as my future wife and the mother of my future children, that her soul is not even here with us njani?

I thought about it for a second until I remembered the conversation me and Mbali had about her ex-boyfriend and how his been following her around, but what does he possibly wants with Lindi?

I looked back at Mbali, who was connected to so many different machines, and I how I didn't do or say anything because she asked me to not do anything about him, she can take care of him now this eii

Baba nodded and I turned back to Nyokayamanzi

Nyokayamanzi:"at the scene there was an envelope dropped there where is it?"
Me:"envelope?"
Baba:"I think Nomtha is the one who picked it up after you and Themba left for the hospital let me go fetch her"
I looked at baba leave and I was confused as to what envelope they were talking about, unless I didn't notice because I was worried about my princess. A few minutes later Nomtha walked in, indeed holding a big envelope
Me:"mntaka malume what's in that envelope?"
Nomtha:"bafo I think it will be best if you opened it and saw for yourself"
I looked at her, then the envelope then uBaba and wondered exacty why they were so nervous, that's when Nomtha handed it to me with trembling hands and I took it and opened it and took out the contents in it and when I looked through everything I was shocked, angry and worried as what me and Mbali thought was bluffing was actually very serious. In the envelope they were multiple pictures of me and Mbali AT HOME but the most were of Lindi, and her face was crossed out in red and written first to go. I digged further in the envelope and there was a smaller one inside that was written "fair warning khubo Khumalo" and I opened it and read what was written and it read:
"Long live the royal Zulu family, except for when they decide to brainwash my wife into loving one of their own and not me her very own underworld king now it's time for action as I have been disrecpected long enough. So, I will be taking one of your own and if my wife MBALI is not returned to me in 2 weeks, I will be taking another one.
TICK TOCK! TICK TOCK!"
When I got to the end of this stupid letter I was beyond livid and I needed to teach this amateur, his place, but as I was standing up to go give this to Themba to sort it out Baba held my arm and dragged me to the floor where Nyoka was busy with the bones and waiting for me to view the last thing in the envelope. I rolled my eyes a little and stuck my hand in there and pulled out a zip lock bag and it had an underwear haibo!!
Me:"yini manje le!!"
Nomtha:"bafo uyabona moc or yini did the panic attack mess with your eyesight?"
Me:"mxm"

She nodded and placed everything on the mat and touched it one by one while buriping none stop

I sighed in defeat as this was now beyond my will power
Baba:"manje sezo yenza njani khehla?"
Nyoka:"kuthiwa ugobela wake uyena abazokhuluma naye"
Me:"ugobela sizomothola kanjani manje because we are literally in KZN"
She shrugged and I got up and went to the waiting room for some fresh air because I am stressed right now. When I got to the waiting room the only people there were Lindi, Mandla and my mother
Me:"uphi uThemba?"
Mandla:"uyolanda umakha mbali ekhaya where the driver dropped her off"
Me:"yah no I'm sure she's going to hate me la"
Mandla:"hate you? For what?"
Me:"her only daughter, who I promise to keep safe is laying in ICU, unable to breath on her own and she has to go back to surgery to fix her lung if she doesn't hate me today because of that, I don't know what else will make her hate me"
Lindi:"kodwa bafo you didn't do anything wrong matter of fact if you didn't have that urgency you had to get here, we would be speaking another story"
I just nodded as she was right, but I felt like I failed to protect her big time.

*NARRATOR*
*ROYAL HOUSE*
Themba drove back home since the driver called him and said that he just dropped Mbali's mother, Nompilo, off. When Themba got to the royal house he found Nompilo sitting in the living room with his aunt, Nolwazi, and a man who was dressed in the same sangoma clothes Mbali sometimes wears but he looked sophisticated and he assumed that he must be someone who wants Nyokayamanzi
Themba:"sanibonani bantu abadala"
Nompilo:"aw saubona mfana wam"
The man:"yebo"
Aunt Nolwazi just looked at Themba and ignored him then continued trying to talk to the man, but he was paying no mind to her and quite frankly, he looked annoyed.
Nompilo:" Themba this is gogo Nkanyezi and his Mbali's gobela"
Themba:"ohh well siya thokoza gogo"
Nkanyezi nodded with a small smile
Themba:"okay well I think it's time we get to the hospital so uGogo can talk to uSiya about Mbali's condition"
They all got up while Aunt Nolwazi just walked upstairs angrily, that's when Esihle, Nosipho and Zinhle rushed down before Themba could leave
Nosipho:"buthi'Themba secela ukuhamba nawe please we know what happened to Mbali"
Themba:"eish bo small I don't think it's a good idea"
Nkanyezi:"bayeke baze nabo uMbali uyabadinga especially loGogo omcane "
Esihle smiled a little as someone knew about her gift without her wearing her spiritual regalia. Themba turned to look at Gogo and didn't quite understand what his saying, but he nodded anyway and signaled for the girls to follow him, and they all headed to the car then drove off to go to the hospital.
*HOSPITAL- SIYA*
I was still trying to figure out exactly how he was going to find Mbali's gobela as I didn't even know them. That's when Themba walked in with Nompilo, Nosipho, Zinhle and Esihle and a man who looked like a sangoma based on his clothes and the beads on him, but he looked like a very modern sangoma unlike uNyoka and his VERY tall.

I looked at this man confused as which khehla is he talking about
Nompilo:"ohh sorry almost forgot to introduce you to each other, lo ugobela ka Mbali uGogo Nkanyezi"
My eyes widened and it felt as though some of the stress that I had, had been lifted, so I grabbed him by his hand and rushed him to Mbali where Nyoka was still sitting on the floor when I barged in and she looked up at us then at Gogo and she smiled, why I don't know kodwa she smiled and bowed her head a little
Nyoka:"thokoza kokwani"
Nkanyezi smiled and got on the floor as well and clapped his hands
Nkanyezi:"thokoza khehla"
I was a little confused, but I remembered that their gifted so eii angizingeni

He nodded and opened the animal skin bag he was holding and took out imphepho ne shoba then he lit it then put it in a bowl and went to Mbali and flicked the smoke to Mbali's face and started burping and nodded and soon he opened his own mat and sat down and threw the bones
