CHAPTER 7

*INSERT 7*

PHILA.

I get up from the couch with her in my arms and I walk to her mother.

Me: Walk me out.

She stands up from the couch and we walk out after greeting Mamdudu goodbye.

Ishmael is already waiting for me in the car.

And he's on the driver’s seat.

I chuckle.

The nerve to sit on my seat.

Me: I'll come see her tomorrow, there's a lot going on right now and I don't want you two in the middle of it.

She nods.

Me: When is your last exam?

Boikanyo: It was today.

Good this will work in my favor then.

Me: What do you feel about moving in with me?

Ask me what I'm saying, I still have a wife even though things are rocky but I just can't invite another person in fact my baby mama and child at our house.

I'll have to come up with a plan.

With Mazibuko entering my territory means war.

And I know he won't hesitate to go after my loved ones.

It was easy protecting Lydia.

Now I have to protect 3.

In fact Lydia didn't need much of my protection cause Mazibuko somehow knowd I don't hold that much love for her.

So I can't risk with Boikanyo and Tsholofelo.

The look she's giving me, I know now she won't agree.

But she doesn't have much of a choice.

I move closer to her and she stands still.

We're outside her house, my car is just 2km from us.

Tsholofelo is in my arms, her small hand on my chin and she's busy playing with my beard.

Boikanyo: I'm not moving in with you.

Me: We'll see about that, take her.

She opens her arms for her.

Tsholofelo looks at her and buries her face on my neck.

Me: I'll come see you tomorrow.

She shakes her head against my neck.

Me: Ketlotla le di sweets kaosasa.( I'll come with treats tomorrow).

Boikanyo laughs, I'm sure it's because of how terrible my sotho accent is.

I'm zulu man. She can’t blame me.

Tsholofelo: Aa papa.( No dad).

Boikanyo shakes her head.

Me: Just pack an overnight bag.

She looks at me like I'm crazy.

Me: Please.

She sighs and walks back inside.

I kiss her cheek.

I walk to the driver's side.

Me: Get out, you know we don't do that.

He chuckles moving over to the passenger seat.

I get in and close the door.

Me: I know how to drive myself.

Ishmael: I thought you would want me to drive.

Me: When have I ever asked you to drive me around?

He goes on to laugh.

This idiot.
