I'm with Langa at his apartment , lying on his chest while he brushes my back . Anyways l need to tell him something but lm afraid he won't accept but that's the least of my worries .... l wonder how mom will take all of this "sighs"

Langa : Babe what's up?

He says desturbing my thoughts .

Yola : uhm .. nothing

He sits up straight causing me to do so too . l feel his eyes burning on my skin because lm not even looking at him

Langa :(sternly) ngibuke Yolanda

I start biting my nails ....l suddenly feel like my neck can't carry my head as l feel it heavy but l manage to look up ...his intense gaze is making me more uneasy

Langa : khuluma nam... yin inkinga ?

Yola : So last week l bought a pregnancy test with the money you've been giving me.

l pause as l see a frown on his face

Yola :(sighs) To cut the story short ...lm pregnant .

Okay his face is unreadable ...l wonder what's on his mind l look down with my tears now coming out . It's clear he doesn't want the baby

Yola :(sniffs) don't worry l can abort the baby you know ...

Langa : Abort ? Who's baby ... Yolanda you keeping that baby . And othi ngiktshele into ongang' buzanga yona ...baby we pregnant .

This guy though , l raise my face with the help of his index finger . He uses his thumbs to wipe my tears and pulls me close to his chest enveloping me .

Langa : Ngyaxolisa ...pm sorry for making you pregnant , you should be focusing on school but this is our creation and lm up to taking responsibility okay?

Yola :(nodds) hmmm babe lm afraid of how mom will react

Langa : l'll talk to her

Yola : chaa l'll do it .

Langa : okay if anything happens just call me .

Yola :(smiles) l will .

She looks at her self in the mirror with blood oozing from her nose and her one eye closed . She unbuttons her shirt only to see black stripes on her ...she has been receiving a beating each and every day and there's only one person she blames Khethokuhle Mhlongo. not even herself ... tears steam dowm her face as she realizes that as soon as he comes back she will receive another beating .
