We have seen the enemy, it is not us

With the break of the morning there is hope that the worst is over, as mother nature abandons her ruthless campaign of raging water and furious winds against the people of the soil. So much devastation; so much misery; and so much hopelessness as the people wake up to shock and awe. There is a small ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds as many people are still trying to make sense of terror they witness and counting their loses. The whole of South Africa has witnessed the cruelty of the monstrous weather which swept away the people; their homes; buildings; bridges and roads; and even schools and churches in its wake.
