The book follows a woman who longs to be married to her long-time boyfriend. Everything seems to be going according to plan until a young, beautiful woman starts working at their school. Things take a turn for the worse when the boyfriend literally follows the 20/80 rule, giving the new woman all the things the long-time girlfriend has yearned for over all these years. In the end, the woman realizes that a man knows what he wants and when he wants it, no matter how long it takes.
