IT WAS TIME TO PUT MYSELF FIRST" tells the story of a young, beautiful Black woman named Lwandle Ngqabaza. Initially insecure about herself, she believed that a boyfriend would be her source of happiness. However, she eventually realized that the relationship was not fulfilling and made her go through difficult times. Lwandle understood that true happiness comes from within and that no one else can make you happy if you are not happy with yourself. It became clear to her that she needed to start accepting herself as she is.
