Enhle paced in her room, trapped in a nightmare.Jame's threats haunted her.
Her parent's expectations suffocated her.
Enhle being called out by her parents.
Enhle entered the living room.
MaZwandle:as you can see the wedding is tomorrow don't try to do anything that will embarrass us you hear?
Enhle:but dad?
Ntombi:don't talk back at your father my dear.
Enhle:okay fine.. I will willingly marry into the smith's family.
MaZwandle:good girl that's my daughter.
Remember tomorrow is crucial for you.
Enhle felt trapped, her dreams slipping away
Enhle went to her room, she slammed the door, letting out a frustrated scream.
Enhle:why did I agree? Why did I give in?
She collapsed on her bed, tears streaming.
Enhle:How can they do this to me don't they care?
Enhle's thoughts swirled, anger and despair mixing.
She grabbed her journal, pouring out her emotions.
Enhle:why didn't they just abort me if they didn't want me. Whyy.. Whyy(crying)
The door bell rang breaking enhle's introspection.
Enhle:Who could it be?
Enhle heard her mother's voice calling her.
Ntombi:Enhle Come down our guest has arrived.
Enhle's curiosity piqued, she wiped her tears away.
Downstairs she found a surprise visitor.
Enhle:Auntie(running to hug her)
Aunt Thembi is her mother's sister.
Aunt Themba's warm smile enveloped enhle.
Aunt Thembi:child I heard about the wedding, I had to come.
Enhle's heart swelled with hope.
Aunt Thembi was known for her wisdom and kindness.
Aunt Thembi led Enhle to her room.
As soon as they enter the room Enhle hugs her Aunt and busted into tears
Thembi:What's wrong? Why are you crying.. You know you can talk to me right.
Enhle:Aunt my life is over.
Thembi:why are you talking like that? I mean you're getting married tomorrow
