"Your family has been really good to me since I have been here...who would have thought?" Pearl says to Ntokozo as they sit under one of the trees at the Gumede home on a Saturday noon, few days after Ntokozo and Dora had a conversation about Pearl. Everyone is home today and the attitude towards Pearl from everyone has shifted a lot since she joined them for supper a few days ago. It is as though they have accepted her as Ntokozo's girlfriend or something. After having a talk with Ntokozo, Dora has decided to give the two some space to work things out on their own. Also, the talk Pearl had with Lungile seems to have eased up tensions beween them a little bit.
