That girl had a nerve to continue telling me she didn't do what l said she did , honestly l almost killed her but l cannot do that yet before seeing Thingoluhle . So lm seated awaiting for her to arrive with Phumlani . My thoughts are disturbed by one of my man informing me about their arrival . l immediately march down stairs heading to the lounge and there she is her head covered with a bandage ,her face with a bit of bruises , she looks so pale and looks like she's also lose wait . My heart races as l feel like strangling the life out of the man seated next to her but this is not the time to do so .
Thingo : Melusi .
She says walking towards me l can't help but her into my arms and l feel her heart race and my shirt becomes wet instantly as l hold onto her tightly .
Melusi : Thingoluhle , lm sorry l should've come earlier .
Thingo : it's not your fault ...
Melusi : it is , you would be here feeling like this ...
Thingo (sniffs) : lts okay ... Phumlani told me that you found out Kedibone was using witchcraft on us ..
Melusi : yeah but that doesn't matter now , what matters is your health .You should rest .
She nods.
Thingo : l have a headache anyways , do l still have a room in this mansion ?

she pulls out of my hold and takes one glance at Phumlani before walking away . This man looks terrible but lm not about to sympathize with him .
Melusi : Follow me .
Phumlani : If you going to kill me just do so here and now .
Melusi : Ngilandele !
I honestly hate repeating myself , l hear footsteps behind me guess he's following ...we get into my car and l drive straight to the base with word's not exchanged between us .
The moment we enter the base Phumlani notices something horrific but also thrilling . Kedibone is tied to the ceiling , with her body naked the dark marks on her cannot be missed and her wig no where to be seen .
Melusi : l guess you now know why l brought you here .
Phumlani : To kill me probably , but first you would let me deal with her .
Melusi : There's no doubt you are a smart man (chuckling then turns serious) Bring him the tools ( looking at him man )
This man bring machetes , knifes , guns , acid , injections . Phumlani smiles mischievously
Melusi : You may do as you please with her .
Phumlani rolls his sleeves looking at the equipment . He picks up the machete and laughs whilst Kedibone's eyes widen . she starts kicking but it's of no use . Phumlani the looks and the injection .
Phumlani : what does the injection for .
Melusi : I used it to paralyzed people for life .
Phumlani :( nodding) I want you to suffer , until you feel like giving up on life . I want you to watch Thingo flourish then ask yourself what was the points of your efforts because you will be the one suffering . l may die too today but atleast l would die knowing that you will live the rest of your life suffering .
with that said he plunges the syringe on her arm , and she starts shaking the pain she's feeling now is unbearable she can't even scream so she be heard .
Melusi : l think l'll like this guy .
he says to himself chuckling taking a gun .
Melusi : you said you want her to suffer , but l can't left her breath for any other day .
He pulls the trigger shooting at the powerless kedi whilst his eyes are on Phumlani . He shoots empty the bullet on the already dead kedi.
[ THE NEXT DAY ]
l walk out limping going to my study , l don't think l'll be able to go to work anytime soon. Melusi really did a number on me , as to why lm still alive ? he only has the answer to that . But lm really glad l am because l can finally see Thingo flourish even if it'll be because of another man .

I feel Thingo move , well she slept in my arms last night . When l came back from beating up that man Phumlani and shot his right leg , l decided to spare his life ... don't look at me like that lm cold hearted but l know it's not he's fault he got bewitched.
Thingo ( yawing) : good morning
Melusi : Morning , unjan ...
Thingo : Ngiyaphila (pauses) why do the sheets feel wet .
Melusi : wet ? let's see .
l pull the sheets and she immediately jumps up as her eye lend on a bed flood of blood . my eyes widen and she runs straight to the bathroom and l follow her .
Melusi : Are you okay .
Thingo : l can't be on my monthly cycle , l mean l finished my cycle last week !
She says dropping her pants and checking her panties and a frown forms on her face
Melusi : Yini manje ?
Thingo : it seems like lm not bleeding .
Melusi : So who's blood is on the sheets .
Thingo : lm do confused .
this doesn't make sense at all ., only one person would be able to explain this to me .
Melusi: l think we should go to my village .
Thingo : "We " noban ? you want me to go that village knowing very well you have a wife back there .
Melusi (sighs) : l know but , l thi k we both want an explanation of where the blood came don't we .
Thingo : hmm.. l think we should go after today , just to see of it'll happen again.
Melusi : okay then.
