CHAPTER 2

RED MOON PACK

Everyone is already waiting in the room. Some are whispering others are just tense, nothing knowing why they were called here.When Damien and Tony get inside, they all go quiet and look to them. Tony is Damien Beta he is like his right-hand man, someone whom he trusts with every piece of information and always relies on him. Damien looks around his pack and can tell they look so scared he sometimes does not like it when they get scared of him, but he pushes those thoughts away.

Tony: "Some of you know about the Alpha seeking for his mate, and it's no secret as every pack out there has been notified about this." Everyone nodded.

Charlie: "So, this search when will it take place do we also need to go?". Tony gives him a stiff look.

Tony: "Tomorrow and what do you think?...who's pack are you guys you think this is a game huh asking such ridiculous questions, and this will also help you find your own mate didn't you ever think about that". Charlie looks down.

Amber: "That makes sense because some of us don't have our mate, yes, so yeah, I guess Tony is right." Everyone agreed.

Damien: "Do I need to tell you to stop getting scared whenever I walk in the room I'm not your enemy I'm your Alpha and I won't do anything to hurt anyone of you". Tony chuckles.

Charlie: "Am I dreaming, or did Alpha just sound so cool right now, or maybe he is excited about this search?". He was whispering to Rick next to him.

Rick: "Yeah, I think it's the excitement man he never speaks like that."

Damien: "And....um....I am....so----sorry If I made any one of you scared it um—was not my—my intention". Everyone gasped, not believing what was happening even though Tony was shocked.

Charlie: "Holy shit he just apologized to us it's not a dream!". He exclaimed.

Rick: "Fuck yeah it's not he is really serious". This took them by surprise they never thought they'll see this day.

Damien: "Can you all stop being delusional why would you get surprised by this you thought I did not have a heart huh? you thought I was not capable of doing this?". They all nodded.

Charlie: "Even your Beta is shocked hearing this we all are don't get me wrong Alpha you cool and all that but you apologizing right now is something I never thought I'd see well damn I'm glad I've witnessed it". Tony chuckles.

Tony: "Yeah I'm also glad too well let's get ready for the search you know some packs are our enemies so you need to keep guard and be cautious you will never know what will happen okay you may leave".

Charlie: "What?....we not eating or anything we just leaving like that man we miss Tellie food didn't she cook today?". Damien shot him a glance and he got scared immediately.

Damien: "She is not your maid or chef don't get used to it you may stay and eat after that leave".

Rick: "Damn for a second there I thought he was going to snap your head out man why won't you shut up!". Charlie shrugged.

Amber: "He never shut up this one he is always talking nonsense you gonna get yourself killed one day because of your loud mouth".

Charlie: "Why are you mad I'm just hungry this is a hungry Charlie speaking and thanks to me you will also eat so leave me alone my mouth did you all a favor". Everyone laughs at that.

Damien and Tony enters Damien study room he goes to pour himself a whiskey he gulps it in one go.

Tony: "Man are you okay?" He sits down.

Damien: "I can't believe I Damien Torres Jacques is about to go search for a mate just because my grandmother said, so I love that woman so much but sometimes she gets too much". Tony smiles.

Tony: "Your grandmother loves you too man so just do this for her she will certainly be happy".

Damien: "But man I can't imagine myself going around looking for a mate damn this just makes my body cold man".

Tony: "I get that man but just find her at once, and all of this will be over you will see". He taps slowly on his table thinking about all of this.

Damien: "This will be a tough journey I'm afraid". Tony nods.

Tellie knocks before entering the room.

Tellie: "Sorry sir, but the pack has left and both your meals are ready should I bring them here?".

Tony: "No it's fine just pack mine I'll eat it at home don't worry". She nodded and glance at Damien.

Damien: "I'm fine Tellie I don't think I can stomach any food right now". She nods, and walks out. 

Tony: "But you've got to eat something you can't do all of this on an empty stomach". 

Damien: "When all of this is over then maybe I'll eat but right now I'm not in the mood".

Damien thought about all of this, he does not see himself doing any of this If it was not for his grandmother none of this would happen. He does not even want a mate to begin with this whole situation is a mess he is better alone, and does not even dream of having someone sharing a bed with him the thought of him doing the mating ceremony leaves rather a sour taste in his mouth.

He took a deep breath, his chest lifting with the effort. It was a long moment before he said,

Damien: "You know Beta I don't think I'm ready for this task". Tony almost chocked on his drink .

Tony: "What?...huh what do you mean?".

Damien: "Man this is too much I'm getting anxious like I would do something bad I don't need any mate man like you know what happened to Tiffany".

Tony: "Tiffany was not even your mate she was forcing herself into you man I didn't even like her man even the pack did not approve of her".

Damien: "Man I'm just saying I'm not ready for all of this damn I can't believe we are doing this tomorrow". He sighed.

Tony: "Damn man you're really thinking too much about this aren't you damn calm down please". He nods.

Damien: "Have other packs know that tomorrow is the day". Tony nodded.

GOLD MOON PACK

Tristin was just in her room reading a book she loves reading. She loves being alone as she does not communicate well with other members expect for Taylor, Allison and Collen they talk to her even when they know she won't answer them back. She heard noise again downstairs and quickly closed her book and went to see what was happening.

"Tristin is here came the news is out". That was Taylor coming towards her, and suddenly tried to touch her but she stepped back and he saw it.

Emily: "Why are you even calling her here she is not interested in this". Allison rolled her eyes.

Collen: "Damn, someone would swear you guys are not siblings at all why the hell do you hate her that much?". He gave her a confused look.

Edward: "Can you just shut up our family matters don't include you in it so back off". He shrugged.

Collen: "But you not giving me a reason to back off the minute you say back off I'm suddenly backing in...um...is it correct to say backing in". He looks at Taylor who was holding a laugh who just nodded.

Allison: "You guys need to give the poor girl a break, I think she's had enough of how you treat her". Emily stood up, and walked towards Allison she tried punching her, but she dodged it.

Steve: "Emily! What are you doing this won't resolve anything stop it right now". He roared.

Allison: "Do that again I promise you I'll crush you into pieces don't mess with me I'm not your friend". Taylor took her hand, land pulled her to his side.

Taylor: "Calm down fighting amongst us won't help Alpha you were saying something about the Red Moon Pack". Steve nodded.

Steve: "I almost forgot....um so tomorrow they will embark on their journey of searching for his mate they will start with the Silver Moon Pack, but one thing I know we are the last pack and maybe he will not even make it to us, and he would....maybe found his mate by then". Collen made a gasp making everyone to look at him in confusion.

Collen: "I'm sorry I just feel sorry for whoever that girl is, damn Moon Goddess is doing it again". Tristin body went cold.

Allison: "Well at least Alpha Damien is looking for his mate unlike other people". They all went quiet.

Edward: "But this must be humiliating for him the mighty Alpha going around like that damn I feel somehow sorry for him".

Steve: "He does not need you to feel sorry for him if he even hears one person saying they feel sorry for him he won't even blink before snapping that person's head he is strong I'm sure he will take this like the Alpha he is". Collen glanced at the Alpha.

Collen: "You talk as if you know him Alpha or do you?". The Alpha froze and then nodded.

Taylor: "What?". He gasped.

Collen: "Holy shit!". He exclaimed.

Emily: "You mean....you know him like way back?". He nodded again.

Steve: "Yes and I wish to not talk about it you may get back to what you were doing". There was chaos the noise was loud Tris also wanted to know how Steve knew this Damien guy. Somehow Tris seems interesting about Damien she wanted to know more about him. Allison went to her, and held her hand. Her eyes widened.

Allison: "Did you finish it?". She nodded. She is talking about the book she gave her. "So whom did you fall in love with Garrett or Benny....ohh let me do like this my left hand is Garrett then my right is Benny who do you pick". She touched her left hand Allison screamed. Taylor, and Collen rushed to her in panic.

Taylor: "What is it why are you screaming?". She sighed.

Allison: "Can you two get out of here you spoiling my fun". They left "I also love Garrett I mean he may be bad and say bad things, but he somehow did show he loves Candy right so he is my favorite too". Tris smiled she thought of doing something to Allison she exhaled, and looked at Allison until she saw her eyes reflection on Allison's eyes she then felt Allison letting her go before sliding down on the floor Tris looked at her body and yes she was like hellbound.....fire was unleashed from her body she decided to calm down then she was back to normal. Allison was still frozen on the floor she got back up, and touched Tris from her face to her arms trying to see if she's okay.

Allison: "Holy shit I'm sorry for cussing but damn girl you went all fox fire or whatsoever on me your eyes were gold you like changed you were like what they call a hellbound or fox Oh my goodness are you......um are you....are you are fox like I don't know what you are like all along you are a fox or whatever you are, and you've never showed them to anyone". She was shocked.

Tristin: "Allison calm down I don't want the other's to see you like this". Allison gasp with her eyes widened as if they will pop out any minute.

Allison: "WHAT IN THE HELL TRISTIN!!!?. Her mouth was wide open a fly or anything could get inside and do whatever it likes.

Tristin: "Can't you mind link you know what let's go to my room I'll explain everything Uhm...take some water with you because you will need it". She quickly let go of her and runs to her room it took Allison a minute to register what just happened she snaps out of and takes the water and head to Tris room.

She gets inside, and Tris is holding the book Allison is now thinking about what has happened just minute ago.

Allison: " So all along you were playing dumb not knowing anything about werewolves or anything why Tris why torture yourself like that?". Tris wipes a tear and smile looking at Allison

Tris: "I was told not to tell anyone even my siblings have no idea about my powers". Allison looked confused.

Allison: "wait, wait, wait what do you mean power's you can do more?". She was shocked

Tris: "I have fox powers the ones you saw no arrow can kill me I also trained Allison I can disappear just now you won't even know where I am I can heal my wounds can heal your wounds I can sense your emotions I'm very good at martial arts as I said I've been trained I can slow things down, but worse of all I can create an earthquake just by getting angry and punching on the ground but I don't want to destroy the world but trust me I can". Allison felt the room was spinning this was a lot to take in.

Tris: "Oh sorry I told you a lot of things I know it's hard to digest all of it, I can make you forget if you like". She shook her head countless times.

Allison: "No....I mean you did not mention you could make people forget like erase their memory...omg Tris who are you...No what are you? You could destroy us all in this house with....with ju-just a snap of your finger". Tris nodded.

Tris: "But I can't do that you people are dear to me yes, I know I did not like you at first when you moved in, but I started enjoying your company so don't worry I won't hurt you, but I would hurt someone who would try to hurt you that's a promise". Allison nodded.

Allison: "Okay....so I don't tell the others about this I just keep my mouth shut right?".

Tris: "I'm not ready to tell them so keep it a secret". She nodded.

Allison: "You must be having a hard time Tris you're too young for this I hope you get past it and find your mate, and live happily ever after". Tris smiled.

Tris: "I don't think I'm meant for that I'm quite sure there's no man who would want a mute mate". Allison went to sit next to her she takes her hands into hers.

Allison: "Have you seen yourself in the mirror I'm even jealous of you because of your beauty Tris you're beautiful any man would die to have you in their arms your eyes are so beautiful girl stop doubting yourself you will find your mate". She nodded they hugged and stayed like that for couple of minutes.

Tris: "You have to go Taylor is probably looking for you I can tell he can't stay away from you....is he your mate?". Allison eyes widened.

Allison: "Uhm....I don't know, but whenever I'm with him, I feel safe I get jealous whenever he talks to some girls in the pack so I guess he is".

Tris: "You guys need to figure it out, but I think he likes you, and you also likes him I can tell by the way you guys look at each other". Allison blushed.

Allison: "Okay let me go finish this book you will love the ending we'll talk about some other time". She left, and Tris felt like she is in peace telling someone about her powers.She takes the photo frame of her parents.

Tris: "Mom I think I did something great today I made a friend I told her about my power's, and she did freak out, but not for long she is an amazing person I never thought I'd talk to other people about my life other than my siblings but they hate me so much I don't know what I did.....Dad keep Mom safe for me I miss you a lot.... why did you leave us? I love you". She cried. Her heart was breaking into pieces, she wanted to scream but she knows she can't because she tries to someone will get hurt or disappear. She wiped her tears, and continue reading the book.

IN THE AFTER LIFE

Derek was comforting his wife who was crying seeing Tris like that.

Derek: "Hush my love everything is going to be fine you will see". She shook her head.

Susan: "Her siblings hate her for what happened if she finds out the truth about what she did she will be unstoppable she will lose her mind". Derek holds her tight on his chest.

Derek: "Stop thinking about it you wiped her memories when you took your last breath I'm positive her siblings won't tell her I pray they don't tell her as I fear she will hurt them too". Susan screams making Derek worried.

Derek: "You need to calm down sweetheart I don't need you breaking down here you need to stay strong for Tris for all three of them please I beg you". She sniffs.

Susan: "Nothing bad should happen to them. Please promise me Derek. I want my babies to be safe." He nodded

Derek: "They will be safe. I'll make sure of it. Don't worry.
